This is great value for the money. Very clean. Rooms are large. Not all the staff spoke English but you can easily use a translator to get the basics for check in. Loved they had a filtered water bottle fill station considering most places just have you buy disposable single use plastic bottles. Staff were very kind.

Discovery Hostel ligger i Manaus, nära Manaus tingshus, Teatro Amazonas och Nossa Senhora da Conceicao-kyrkan. Boendet har gratis WiFi. Property had everything from private room, shared kitchen (with coffee And tea) and washroom. Price was very affordable and in a safe locality. Best part is the family that hosted us was too sweet.

The staff is friendly, the food is fantastic, and the location is just at the heart of the rainforest, which was exactly what I was looking for. Good for relaxation, there is no internet or signal at the cottage, which allows for social media detox. However, broadband is available near the main building/restaurant if you can't live without internet. I was able to do a couple of web/video calls to my office early in the morning before going deep into the forest.

VilaVerin Apartments ligger 17 minuters promenad från Manaus tingshus och erbjuder luftkonditionerat boende med en uteplats. Gratis WiFi är finns och även privat parkering på plats. What stand out the most is our Host Mr. Manual always replies almost immediately about checking in and other inquiries. The accommodation is very great, it includes all the appliances even a hair dryer! Very spacious and clean, service is A+ and price cant be beat! We ended staying another 2 nights and cancel from our other booking. 🙂 he also reserve our ride going back to the airport.

Amazônia ParkSuítes ligger i Novo Airão och har en utomhuspool, en trädgård, en restaurang och en bar. It is well maintained by kind and loving people. It was comfortable to stay there on the beautiful property. They also helped me arrange the tours and took care of my needs.

Just finished the 4 night cruise and it exceeded our expectations. Although the boat is a little tired it is spotlessly clean (cabins serviced twice per day) and well appointed. Good size cabins, all with a balcony and enormous comfortable bed, tv, wifi, minibar, dressing gown, slippers etc. it was a floating hotel room. The staff are all lovely, a particular we would like to thank to Moura in the dining who took such good care of us. He was very kind and attentive, I was a little apprehensive as some reviews said the food was not good & the wine was undrinkable but actually we found the opposite. Lots of Amazonian fish, fresh salads, fruit (plus lots of treats if you preferred). We particularly enjoyed the captain’s dinner on the final night Food was delicious. It was followed by a wonderful show. Several excursions per day so the boredom get a chance to take hold. Although it seems expensive when you book it, you don’t have to spend a single cent whilst on board. It is, fully all inclusive and once you add everything up, it feels like good value. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the cruise. It’s a once in a lifetime experience.

Dolphin Lodge ligger vid floden Mamori och erbjuder fiske, en restaurang och en daglig frukostbuffé. Det finns en relaxavdelning med hängmattor vid floden och en 24-timmarsreception. I loved the experience at Dolphin Lodge. The staff were incredibly nice, the tours were fascinating, and our guides (Sebastião and Chico) were very knowledgeable. The facilities were convenient, even though we were in the middle of the jungle. I especially enjoyed the homemade food, with plenty of vegetarian options.
