From the moment I arrived, Victoria, the manager, greeted me warmly and stayed attentive and friendly throughout my stay. Facilities Sabai is a fairly new hotel, and you can tell every detail has been carefully selected. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, with super cozy beds, multiple pillows, and air conditioning to keep you cool after a day in the sun. Rooftop Pool The rooftop pool became my personal lounge space whenever I was back at the hotel. The view is incredible, stretching over lush greenery, and I actually saw two toucans while relaxing there. It is the perfect spot to unwind with a drink, read a book, or just soak in the scenery. Breakfast Breakfast was such a delight each morning. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, the perfect way to start each day before exploring. Service Every staff member I encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful. Their warmth really added to the experience and made me feel right at home. Overall, Sabai exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a serene getaway with modern comforts, welcoming staff, and a rooftop pool where toucans might just make an appearance, this is the place to stay.

São Jorge is a very small village, and the property is located just a 5-minute walk from the main street with all the restaurants and bars. The room was very clean and is located on the second floor of a two-storey building. There is a shared, fully equipped kitchen on the property. Great value for the money—probably the best option in the village with free parking.

It's also very handy that you can cook there and all kitchen stuff you need will be there, also the shower is lovely (not the electric one like the rest of Brazil). We really liked to hike during the day and then chill a bit in the hammock afterwards. Felt like our own small paradise :)
