A perfect room for a family with small kids. The panoramic view is amazing. There is a hiking path to the lake of Murten just underneath the hotel. 20 minutes drive to Papiliorama, if you want to be there early. The best is to be at Papiliorama as soon as it opens in the morning. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.

We can only recommend this stay and would come back in a heartbeat. The room and facilities were great and the garden is gorgeous. The hosts were very friendly and eager to help. Traveling home from Munich the Ofenhaus was a perfect location for a stop over. The location is quiet but a short walk into town. Our host was friendly and on hand when we arrived, the studio was well equipped and the bed very comfortable. Our only regret was we should of stayed another day to explore the area.
