This hostel is run by a friendly family. It's conveniently located, and the kitchen is well-equipped, making it convenient for guests. The bus terminal is nearby, and there's a large supermarket just 10 minutes away, making shopping a breeze. A particularly nice touch is the beachside walks. I enjoyed the beautiful scenery as I walked alone in the morning and evening. Breakfast is provided. I checked out early in the morning on my departure day, and they prepared a simple meal for me the night before. I appreciate their kindness.

Absolutely friendly owner who recommended and helped us with everything that we wanted and his advice was more than helpful. He has definitely insight about the whole Chiloé Island, really the right man in his place!!!

Hostal Palafito Waiwen อยู่ในกัสโตร ห่างจากหาด Sabanilla Beach ไม่เกิน 1.5 กม. Not exactly in the centre but a great location nonetheless! The room was super comfortable and the staff very friendly. I wish I’d had more time to stay there and use the deck that overlooks the estuary!

Hostal Casa Damasco ตั้งอยู่ในอันกุด ห่างจากหาด Arena Gruesa Beach 1.3 กม. The location was amazing. Literally like 1 minute to the coast from the hostel(walking) and only a few blocks from the artisanal market and to the towns’ busy area. The house was decorated beautifully and was very spacious. The host Raúl was very intelligent, well mannered, and informative. Though, I didn’t use it, he offers tours in his Hostel (penguins, the town, etc). Very good communication with him and he recommended us good places to eat and where to visit within Ancud and where to go afterwards. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was perfect. Private parking available upon request. Central AC in the house, so we slept nice and warm.

Breakfast was really filling and delicious. Location was perfect, in the center of Quellon. The staff were really friendly. The bed was comfortable & the shower was hot with good pressure.
