Ella is a marvelous host! The environment in the hostel is very friendly. It is perfectly clean and it has all you could expect from a family business. The neighborhood is not too far from the city center and you can find good restaurants nearby.

Very good hotel in the middle of nowhere! Breakfast isn't included but you can pay an additional fee for that. From 7:00--10:30 that's the breakfast time. Notice that in Urumqi, the time is technically 2 hours behind Beijing Time because it's still dark until around 8:20AM. And the regime of working hours is 10:00 instead of 9:30am then it ends at 18:00 instead of 17:30. The hotel also has a gym on the 3rd floor; you can definitely workout during your feel time. Free water is provided everyday while staying there. Mostly importantly, check in wasn't difficult during midnight for me. Room was very clean & love the shower head too; looks beautiful!

I’d like to thank the waiter, Aidos, who was always there to help us with whatever we needed. I’d also like to thank the woman at the front desk, who was always so understanding. We agreed on a €100 cash deposit. We had no trouble staying with our two children, ages 5 and 2; I thought we’d be asked to pay extra, but that didn’t happen. Everything was just great.

Owner is a very friendly and kind man. Staff are also amazing. Location is very central. Beds are comfy and have excellent curtains. Also good quality coffee!

The location is very good, near to Da bazaar. The staff was very helpful and tried to help with any questions we had.

The hostel is really great! I love my stay here! It is a little bit out of town but still ok to go everywhere with all the buses stopping close! And at least it is in a small quiet street with a lot of shops/restaurants close by. The room and bathroom are perfectly clean. The room is spacious and a lot of natural light during the day which is really nice. Additional point to the kitchen provided with a microwave and fridge, it’s not common in China and really appreciated! The common area is really nice to hang out, meet people or just rest after a long day discovering Urumqi. I think one of the best thing there is the team! The owner is so nice, speaks a perfect English and will do everything to help you! She bought my bus ticket to Kazakhstan online because I couldn’t without a Chinese number and booked my entrance to the museum for the same reason. She is really helpful. The rest of the team also is really welcoming. Every evening we were able to all hang out and dance and learn traditional dances all together. In the overall I recommend for anyone coming to Urumqi and wants a place that is more than just an hostel. Thank you again for everything 🥰
