Clean hostel with beautiful views and a nice social atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Jefer was super helpful in arranging a late-night airport pickup (11 pm) and offering us a very affordable upgrade to a private room after our long journey. Highly recommended.

Posada Casa Salento is 100% excellent in terms of 1) Staff - the host, John, Angela who checked us in, 3 staff at breakfast room and our room's cleaning lady - everyone did their best to help and make our 3 nights stay very enjoyable & comfortable! 2) Location - it is an easy walk to the bus station and also to Salento main square. A few steps away from a Laundry shop, a snacks & drinks shop two doors away and numerous restaurants close by. 3) Breakfast is very delicious & hearty. There were 8 choices so we could pick a different make-to-order breakfast during our 3 days stay. Fresh juice, well toasted bread & arepa and great coffee were included too. 4) Free drinking water & free brewed coffee provided 24-h, these were located at the corridor on every floor of the inn. 5) Ponchos , umbrella and best of all, waterproof paddington boots could be loan out for hiking at Cocora valley. We used the boots and these made our hike so much more easy and fuss-free. You can see the highest level of dedication in John, the host, at Casa Salento. Every detail has been taken care of, Casa Salento offers excellent hospitality and is one of the best accommodation that we have ever stayed with in over 80 countries.

Parking was also very easy to find on the carreras, which made traveling by car very convenient. Highly recommended!
