it is a brand new appart-hotel which has only been finished for a few months. The interior has everything it needs, is really bright and beautiful. The bed's are comfortable and the sofa was also nice to sleep on. the hotel was not crowded so that we could appreciate some quietness and even be often alone in the swimming pool on the roof (with a fabulous view). I would immediately return. Also all the staff we met was very friendly and welcoming. a great place to be !!!

"This is not your typical accommodation, where guests often don’t interact with the host. On the contrary, the host, Mrs. Lafayette, is a hostess with a big heart, one that has space for all her guests. She personally welcomes each one and gives them her full attention. She is very communicative and kind. Her life story gives her a broad perspective and an acceptance of people. Visiting her hotel is like visiting a grandmother you haven’t seen in a long time; she is so happy to see you and makes sure everyone feels great. Breakfast with her is an experience, enriched by getting to know the other guests.

Fantastic apartment! It had everything we needed. The balcony was a lovely bonus, perfect for relaxing. The location couldn’t have been better. In short: a wonderful stay and definitely recommended

Hotel: Ocean Suites is much more than a hotel. The service and attention that you as a customer receive every day is great🤩. I stayed in room 2 (for me one of the nicest room)😌. The room was large, with good working air conditioning and a beautiful view of the popular square and main street.The servers were friendly one by one and want to do everything for you "NO STRESS". And every evening there is live music downstairs in the restaurant with good music. You dance💃🏾 until you can't feel your feet anymore (haha). For your safety, a security guard is present every night and after an evening out he will bring you safely to the entrance so that you can safely return to your room. Breakfast ,lunch and diner: Every morning I could choose between 3 different breakfast menus (American🥓, Cape Verde🫘 and Mediterranean🍅). All three were tasty and you get a lot! You can also enjoy a delicious meal there (lunch and dinner). Try their burger🍔 (one of the tastiest burgers in Cabo Verde!)🤌🏽.  The beach and the famous pier are a 3-minute walk from the hotel! All famous cafes and restaurants are a 5 or 6 minute walk from the hotel. If you want to save money, book all activities through Dorry, which will save you 10 to 20 euros per excursion. And you can also arrange your transport to and from the airport through Dorry. Ocean Suites is for me the best hotel in Santa Maria! Adilson makes the best coffee☕️ for you in the morning. Janete serves you with her beautiful smile in the evening 😍(She has the most beautiful curls I had ever seen) And Flavio teaches you the coolest dance moves every evening💃🏾. Thank you Dorry for everything and I will definitely be back❤️❤️!!

The property is a new building, just a few meters from the beach. Very very close to the high street. It’s also got a really good fresh’ water pool at the top with a good view of Santa Maria. This was a 10/10 stay for me and it was the second location I stayed in Sal.

Centrally located in Santa Maria. New apartment. Fully equipped. Clean. Silent, away from the main street noise. 24/7 staff. Storage for surfing gears at ground level.

Very spacious and clean. Well equipped kitchen. Air con!

Camilla was very friendly and super helpful! Lovely clean modern apartment with super comfy beds! Overall lovely stay, would stay again!
