Loved the location, right in the middle of Santa Maria. The sound proofing on the balcony doors was a bonus although the music stopped by midnight. The breakfast and views from the terrace were both fantastic. And the staff were really friendly. Super stay. Can highly recommend.

I visited Santa Maria and stayed at 7 different, equivalent hotels during the week. Design Suites is the best hotel. The staff is helpful and very nice. I had tv problems and the manager organized help immediately and solved the problem. The cleaning is very good. Overall, the maintenance of the hotel is good. During the week there were several power outages on the island. In this hotel, the business has worked without problems. This indicates a good organization and committed staff. I will gladly come back to the "best hotel" on the island.

The location is amazing, the staff is very friendly and the facilities are as shown in the photos. The pool and the private beach are amazing. The hotel restaurant is one of the best I have visited in Cabo Verde.

The property was very clean and well designed, so all rooms looked out onto the beautiful swimming pool. A lot of care and attention is made to the immaculate surrounding gardens, with lustrous colours of the eye catching flowers. It was very welcoming, and comfortable.
