Everything is excellent. Room is spacious. Big, comfy bed. Good shower. We were living on Sal for a month in different places, and it’s one of the best places to stay on the island.

I visited Santa Maria and stayed at 7 different, equivalent hotels during the week. Design Suites is the best hotel. The staff is helpful and very nice. I had tv problems and the manager organized help immediately and solved the problem. The cleaning is very good. Overall, the maintenance of the hotel is good. During the week there were several power outages on the island. In this hotel, the business has worked without problems. This indicates a good organization and committed staff. I will gladly come back to the "best hotel" on the island.

We were before in Santa Maria Beach Apartament and breakfast was really bad, we were so happy to move to Hotel Da Luz where we finally had good breakfast!! Personal was very friendly , amazing swimming pool and on the roof place to do gymnastics and yoga. This hotel is very good choice, specially for this price.
