Biba is such a lovely host and will make you feel at home immediately. The dorms are spacious, beds are comfortable and have a curtain for privacy. The location is perfect with bazar, restaurants and the local ferry to Elephantine Island just across the road.

Excellent guesthouse in Elephantine island, very quiet and with amazing Nile views. Our room was spacious. The staff was very nice and helpful. Elephantine island is the best choice for a stay in Aswan, with a typical nubian village, no cars, and easy access to Aswan centre.

Very clean, new rooms. Beautiful location by the Nile. Wonderful, very tasty home made food recipes. Nicest, genuinely friendly and helpful people. They help us so much with our plans and arrange our day tours. No tips were expected but last day I was able to at least pay something of all the favors and services and boat rides we got. Thank you so much!

We had a perfect 1 night stay at Wawat. Assem (the owner) welcomed us with open arms and he arranged everything for us, from getting tickets to the lightshow to falafel for breakfast. He was helped by his nephew who drove us around last night. They are a great team together! Assem speaks English perfectly btw, communication with him has always been great, from when we made the booking until we left. The guest house is brand new and you can tell: it's squeaky clean, the beds and bedding are in perfect state and the much needed aircon cooled us down within minutes. There's also a communal area with couches and a table with chairs. This makes it feel very homey. Definitely the best guest house we stayed at during our Egypt trip so far. I highly recommend staying here, not only for the help you'll receive but also for the very comfortable rooms and the Nubian hospitality and warmth. Thank you so much, Assem and family 🫶

The guest house is very new but you will receive one of the most genuine hospitality, hosted by the a lovely owner his helpful staff. The owner can arrange airport pick up to the ferry with affordable price. The staff help us carry our heavy luggage from the ferry to the guest house and vice versa. The guest house is situated on the river side with a spectacular sunset. The property will make you feel like a second home. The owner and his staffs are very helpful, they can assist you in sorting out trips/tours with actually very good price. We couldn’t ask for a better experience.

The location, the views, and the way everything is built so close to nature were absolutely incredible. But what truly made this place unforgettable were the people. They didn’t feel like staff, they felt like family, welcoming us into their home with genuine warmth. And the food… just amazing. As an Indian, good spices and flavour are non-negotiable, and we got exactly what we were craving. We were also really grateful for their help when our pre-booked driver didn’t show up, the team stepped in, and the photo they provided helped us secure a refund for the cancelled activity. After 13 days of travelling across Egypt, staying here was the perfect way to unwind and say goodbye to this historic and culturally rich country.

This accomodation was very nice, placed in Nubian village on the riverbank of Nile. Is there very silent, but not boring.In the village is local bazar and this village is lit a bit turistic atraction. When you arrive from city center, you go there by boat, it is very magnificent espacially before dark. Staff was very helpful for us and they manage for us picking up from the city center, there and back, transfer to airport, to pick up place for our trips. Near the accomodation are 2 restaurant. I recomended both and also accomodation. I think this guest house is good variant for a few night.
