this is a true gem of a guest house. it’s run by warm and conscientious owners who really understand how make the experience memorable. small touches go a long way, including the lovely communal spaces and gardens. the rooms are spotless and the location great. our family found this place a nice respite from a busy aswan.

I had a nice stay here—it really exceeded my expectations. The host is a young, hardworking guy who is incredibly friendly and responsible; you can tell he puts his heart into running the place. The room is clean, and the cozy decoration gives it a warm, personal touch. The location is also perfect—just a short walk to the river bank and the public ferry port. I’d definitely choose this place again.

The truth is that the service is excellent.I stayed in many hotels,but the view in their place is very special.All Nile Cruise is present,and the Nile looks very beautiful.It looks like a photographic scene.All the employees are very nice all the time,smiling,and the cleanliness is always there,and the smell of their place is distinctive,other than many places♥️♥️

Our stay at Wawat Hotel was an excellent experience from start to finish. The gentleman who welcomed and hosted us was incredibly helpful and made everything feel very easy and smooth. Communication was simple—he contacted us immediately via WhatsApp and was already waiting for us even before check-in, despite the accommodation being easy to find. He assisted us with everything we needed, including arranging transport to Abu Simbel directly through the hotel, which was very convenient. The breakfast he prepared was great, and we also appreciated that free bottled water was always available in the fridge. He genuinely cared about making sure we were comfortable, while still giving us full privacy and space without being intrusive at all. The rooms were perfectly fine, and the modern shower was a very pleasant surprise after traveling around Egypt. Overall, we highly recommend Wawat Hotel for anyone visiting the area around Aswan. It was a warm, easy, and very comfortable stay thanks to the amazing hospitality.

Abdu and the other staff have been very hospitable and made us feel welcomed all the time. They satisfied every request of ours. Position was also good, calm and relaxing environment outside the city. We relied on them with all the excursions (tomb of the nobels, feluca and Abu Simbel).

Easy to find from the ferry in Aswan. Take the one close to the gardens (the furthest south one). Check in was no problems and the staff were really nice. Breakfast was nice the next morning! The quality/price ratio is exceptional but do not read this review thinking it's a 5 star hotel. This guesthouse is one of the better ones I would say. Our focus was cleanliness and they delivered (except see minor remark below - this does not take any score away from them though as we have been travelling Egypt for 3 weeks so we know what the typical things you find are. Other than that, cleanliness was very good).
