From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. The guesthouse is a sanctuary of calm. Ahmed arranged a couple of tours / logistics for us. These were fulfilled with good communication and with the mostl loveliest of people (especially captain Ismael!) The stay was a highlight of our journeys so far!

Jimmy was very accommodating and just a lovely, friendly guy to speak to. The room was spacious and comfy. The shared bathroom was directly opposite the private room so was almost like having your own bathroom. Good central location to Aswan (2 minute walk from train station) and great value for money. Jimmy helped with some information about different ways of getting to Abu Simbel. Would happily stay again!

The accommodation is located on the quiet site of Elephantine island with a beautiful view from the terrace and most rooms. The rooms are comfortable, great mattresses, great water pressure in the shower, everything seems new and is very clean. Marwan is a wonderful host and made an amazing breakfast. We would stay here again!

Very clean, new rooms. Beautiful location by the Nile. Wonderful, very tasty home made food recipes. Nicest, genuinely friendly and helpful people. They help us so much with our plans and arrange our day tours. No tips were expected but last day I was able to at least pay something of all the favors and services and boat rides we got. Thank you so much!

It was the best n most comfortable stay in my Egypt trip. I felt home and Hamza took very nice care right from the time I booked to my check-in and until I checked out. * I checked in at extreme late hours n he waited n coordinated with the driver for drop off. * I made a late request for seeing abusimbel temple early morning at sunrise n he arranged a pick n drop wijr no costs (many hotels ask extra for it) * Beds were comfy n I got to laundry my clothes too * Had to stay extra hours for check out n he personally spoke for driver to safely drop back as there was language barrier I would rate 200% as Hamza and the facilities were amazing that I felt home away from home

Highlight of our Egypt trip! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Safe haven, lots of activitys provided and so easy to book. Very authentic, off the beaten path. Kayaking tour was great. Visiting a fisher on his island and experience a real Nubian lunch. The Nubian village just a 2 minute boat ride away. The whole staff felt like family. It felt like a second home. A must visit on your Egypt trip, 100% recommend staying here
