Pjama Hostel is really in a great location. Biba is a very attentive woman, and you can ask her any questions you have in mind, especially about tours and such. She can arrange Abu Simbel tours at reasonable prices , also like Bus transfer to Luxor. Apart from that, the hostel is located in an apartment in the center of Aswan. Although the entrance of the building might look a bit odd, the hostel upstairs is really nice. If you’re looking for a backpacker-friendly or affordable place, it’s quite ideal.

Great location for a restful holiday, close to all the attractions without the noise from the city. + Beautiful and very comfortable room. The Guest House is new, well equipped and wonderful view. The terrace is large, perfect for enjoying the sun at breakfast. The room was very comfortable. Bathroom is spacious and well organized. There is AC excellent to use and the room was nice and cold at night. There is coffee, tea and tisane available at any time in the rooftop. Breakfast is Nubian style, with eggs, bread, vegetables, a bean sauce (foul) creamy local cheese, tasty falafel and coffee or tea. Everything was fresh and delicious. We especially enjoyed the quietness of the place, restful nights without noise. The hosts are warm and kind. This is a family business, so you will meet Mohamed, the host, as well as his wife and kids. They try their best to provide you with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Mohamed picked us up from the ferry im his private boat and took to Elephatine, where they helped us with the bags. It is a very short walk to the guest house. They can also provide boats to visit the attractions around the Aswan. This is a perfect place for solo travellers or families - Everything was great!

Humza, the owner of the hotel, took care of all the logistics for his guests - organised tuk tuks for us to get to and from temple and to the bus station so we did not have to bargain with them. Also provided us breakfast for free and gave excellent recommendation for dinner (it was in fact one of the best meals' we've had in Egypt).

A very quiet and peaceful place that can be reached by boat. The host was extremely friendly, offered welcome drinks, prepared breakfast early for our 5:30 AM departure, and even helped carry our luggage up the long stairs. Definitely worth the price!

The guest house is beautifully decorated, colorful, and full of character. Many of the doors, furniture, and wooden details are handmade from recycled wood, which gives the place a very special and authentic feel. The owner, Hafez, made everything extremely easy for us, including picking us up by boat. Arriving by the Nile with views of the river and the Nubian village was unforgettable. The location is excellent, right next to the port, making it easy to get transport to other islands. Hafez and the staff truly go above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and the breakfast was amazing.
