We didn't know what to expect when we were on our way to the hotel, since it's located on elephantine Island, with no roads, just sand. But the Mango guest house was so lovely, cozy, super clean and amazing staff. They definitely exceeded our expectations!

I had a nice stay here—it really exceeded my expectations. The host is a young, hardworking guy who is incredibly friendly and responsible; you can tell he puts his heart into running the place. The room is clean, and the cozy decoration gives it a warm, personal touch. The location is also perfect—just a short walk to the river bank and the public ferry port. I’d definitely choose this place again.

This hostel had an amazing location right next to the Nile River. The dorms, rooms, and kitchen were all very clean, and the atmosphere was peaceful. The best part was the view — we could see the river directly from our window. A perfect stay for anyone who wants both comfort and a beautiful riverside experience.

View was amazing... Staff are really kind and helpful.. Manger Mahmoud is so kind person and made our stay much better easier and relaxing... Just wished if wardrobe was smaller and if room have a small refrigerator (minibar) but even without that in the end our stay was amazing we really enjoyed it

The location is perfect 10 minutes walk from the ferry ⛴️, making it super easy to get around. My room was so clean, cozy, and comfy 🛏️✨, with great facilities that made me feel right at home. But what made the experience truly special were the amazing hosts —Karim and his lovely wife Alaa . They were so kind, generous, and welcoming — they made me feel like part of their family 🫶. The rooftop restaurant was my favorite spot! Every morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast 🍳☕ with the most incredible view of the Nile, the sailboats, nature, and Mountains 🏞️🚤 — a view I’ll never get over! If you're heading to Aswan, I can't recommend Rayan Nubian Guest house enough! It's a peaceful, warm, and beautiful place to stay. 🌟

A very quiet and peaceful place that can be reached by boat. The host was extremely friendly, offered welcome drinks, prepared breakfast early for our 5:30 AM departure, and even helped carry our luggage up the long stairs. Definitely worth the price!

The place is really new, all is painted in white, very clean, new furniture, great bed and very comfortable mattress, bed linen all white and fresh, also the towels. The room is totally worth the price, is even better than you except, it fulfills the european standars ( like german clean hotel). The bathroom is spacious. The rooms are also very quiet, a thing that is hard to find in Egypt. The wifi works perfectly, each room has a smart tv, you can use your Netflix account in case all the programs ( also many with american movies in english) are not enough. They have a terrace above with a beautiful view over the river where they serve breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is very nice, it is traditional, but also they can make the eggs the way you like. The guest house is brand new, is a family business owned by JJ and Mona, who are amazing people, they take care of everything you need and are very warm, kind and welcoming people. They speak also good english so is very easy to get all the information you need. They offer services also for trips, to go visit the nubian village, the botanical garden or take a felucca ride for sunset at very good price. They are honest people. I talked to them a lot and are very open. I have been to many places and I can make a difference between a host who really cares about the wellbeing of the customers and the one who just does it for the business, definitely JJ and Mona are genuine carrying people. We loved them.

- Staff was really nice and helpful (also with booking tours)! - Really nice and clean room. - Good breakfast. Also, when we left early in the morning for the Abu Simbel tour the staff made a breakfast box for us to take with us. - Good location in the Nubian Village close to the souks.
