I was surprised of how lovely this property was. Completely renovated in a very nice and modern way, large room, extremely comfortable beds, and super clean! Would I stay again? Definitely yes.

Hostal Plaza Mayor is located on El Camino de Santiago pilgrimage route and features accommodation in Carrión de los Condes. Everything was perfect. As Arnold Schwarzenegger would say I'll be back.

The place is like a hidden gem in a small village before Sahagun. It is run by a lovely Italian family and their warm and sunny personality makes you feel like at home. A very clean dormitory and showers, but the most exciting was their food. I was looking forward to their meal sooooo much after spending several days walking the camino and eating watery soups and tortilla…And yes, that dinner was absolutely delicious, very generous servings and made the same way as you can get the meal in Italy homecooked by mamma italiana❤️We ate pasta with pesto and cheese, meat balls with peas and mixed salad and full fat greek yogurt with strawberry sauce and nuts for dessert. Yummy😋I was so full I didn ´t eat anything the following day and walked 38km👍Do yourself a favor, stay there overnight (forget sleeping in Sahagun), eat their delish meal and have fun👏🌞

HOSTAL ALBE อยู่ใน Carrión de los Condes ห่างจาก Villa Romana La Olmeda 21 กม. Perfect clean, nice decoration room with comfortable beds. Great location, just on the Camino de Santiago way. The man on the reception was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the comfortable stay!

Despite the fact that it was very warm when we were there and there’s no air-conditioning, we were perfectly cool in our room and the host and hostess were fantastic. The meals were exceptional great value for money and an absolutely beautiful location.
