The sauna and everything else was very clean and well maintained. Hint: The complete address for the building is Merilänrannantie 68e, not just 68 as in the listing.

A very warm welcoming and the hosts were absolutely helpful and friendly. The place is so peaceful and quite and the nature around is fantastic. There is a beautiful lake to swim near by and the Koli NP is also close. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks a lot!

Nice, beautiful location, great personnel, clean rooms. Everything was great!
When booking, I did not notice that economy apartments with 2 rooms does have a bathroom, but without a shower. There is a sauna building 100m away having a set of showers to be used for such accommodations. The host was so kind to find an option in the main building having a bathroom with the shower inside. That mentioned sauna is open for guests daily in the evening for free + there is an ice hole to swim after sauna 😁

The cottage was a good place to stay when hiking in Koli. The path to the shore of the lake was found behind the trees in the backyard. The cottage was spacious and clean, well-equipped and in a quiet location. Good outdoor terrace. The yard was mostly in a natural state, but that didn't bother us.

My stay at Paimentupa exceeded my expectations. The room at the granary was surprisingly spacious, and it was dark enough to have a good night's sleep during Finland's white nights.
My hosts were very friendly and helpful. The home-baked Karelian pasties were the highlight of a rich and tasty breakfast.
Paimentupa is located in the midst of idyllic countryside, just a stone's throw away from the cliffs of Koli National Park. The perfect place to stay if you want to visit Finland's most famous National landscape.

We stayed for one night. The room was very clean and well equipped. Staff was professional, kind, helpful. Everything we ate for breakfast was very tasty. For lunch we had pizzas which we would recommend to everyone. The spa was relaxing.

Wonderfull stay in a wonferfull place. The camping is near a quite lake about 10km far from koli village, in the middle of a nature area. Our cottage was an old style ones with private wooden sauna. It was fantastic. The cottage has private barbecue and kitcken fully equipped. If you are looking for some days alone from noise and in touch with nature (trekking bike canoes or just silent and relax..) it's the best place. The staff is helpfull and kind and it was sad to let the cottage.
