Each cottage at Kolin Lotus Cottages has a private sauna, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and drying cabinet. A living room with a flat-screen TV, DVD player and fireplace complete the units. Free firewood is provided. We returned there for the second winter in a row and found it to be the same lovely place as last year. The cottage is clean, comfy and its location so beautiful. We hope we can manage to come back next year too.

Towels and bed linen are provided in the apartment. For added privacy, the accommodation features a private entrance. Felt like home. The sauna was nice. Everything necessary for food prep was there and a big fridge to store the things. The location was good as we could walk to the hiking trails without the need to drive.

The contact person was easy to reach. It was super nice to swim in the lake after sauna. The pictures give a real picture of the house, extra plus for that.

The location of Paimentupa is excellent. It is located around Koli National Park. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery at any time. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Paimentupa to the trailhead. In less than an hour, you can hike to Paha-Koli, Akka-Koli and Ukko-Koli, and other hiking trails. The layout and color of the room are elegant and warm, and it is also very clean. It makes people feel like home and very comfortable. It is highly recommended to those who want to travel to Koli National Park. I stayed three nights and really enjoyed my stay there. Paimentupa also offers horseback riding experiences on forest trails, which is also highly recommended. The owner provided considerable assistance, making it smooth for me to get there even by public transportation.

The view, the wooden sauna, the grill area, and the surrounding area. Koli National Park is a beautiful place to visit but for me, the view from the cottage was even better than the ones from the famous viewpoints in Koli. You have an inmense piece of land for yourself with direct access to a clean, clear, and calm Finnish lake. The real Finnish experience doesn't get any better than this. I hope I can come back to this place in the future. I can highly recommend this place to anyone planning to visit this part of Finland.
