This is a gorgeous house in the middle of a forest! So peaceful! We are very grateful because we booked the room, but they also have a Suite with a bedroom and a sitting room with direct access to the pool, and they upgraded us to this extra room! So we had space to work a little and more space to enjoy a coffee. The suite has a fireplace but we arrived in some hot days no fire needed. If you are considering this house: book the suite! A good continental breakfast with hot croissants and some pastries and yoghurt was also included and was delicious. There is no fridge in the rooms but the hosts let us put our meds in their fridge so that helped us. Parking was also available inside the property. Fantastic location to visit lascaux area, with all the famous caves and the beauty of the Dordogne. Enjoy!

Our hosts were delightful and so welcoming. Our room and terrace, despite the rain was perfect and beautifully & lovingly restored as was the rest of the chateau over many years. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and they welcomed our dog as long as she was leashed at all times naturally, as not to disturb the resident cats and pony’s.
