Este hotel del siglo XIX está situado en el centro de la preciosa Mont-Dore, en una zona ideal para visitar el pico de Sancy. Beautiful, grand old hotel in the heart of Mont-Dore, perfectly located for walking around downtown. The breakfast was outstanding—eggs, pastries, hot oats, and more (French eggs really are superior!). Our room was lovely, with a full bed and a twin, ideal since I tend to twitch at night. Just note there’s no lift/elevator, which may matter for some travelers.

The auberge provides everything you need when travelling and the rooms etc have been recently constructed to a very good standard. Breakfast was not provided but croissants etc were obtained from a nearby patisserie to accompany coffee provided in the restaurant adjoining the auberge. Saint Angel was good for an evening stroll.

A really excellent little room, comfortable and clean with lovely attention to detail. The location is perfect, right in the old town. Annick was extremely welcoming and looked after us very well. The breakfast, partly homemade, was a lovely feature. It also made a big difference to have a private off-road car parking space. All in all, highly recommended.

Château de Codignat está en Lezoux, a 26 km de Zénith d'Auvergne, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina de temporada al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y terraza. Un lugar excepcional y un edificio singular. Pocas habitaciones, amplias, con muchisimo terreno. Buena piscina, jardines, etc. Merece la pena alojarse en él. El desayuno, que estaba incluido en el precio, me pareció muy bueno. Excelente relación calídad-precio.
