Set in Clermont-Ferrand, 3.9 km from Blaise Pascal University, Grand Mess Clermont-Ferrand offers accommodation with a terrace, private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel was very pleasant and clean, the room with a loft was brilliant. Excellently soundproofed from the bottom of the bar and the restaurant. The breakfast really superb, very nice and helpful staff.

Located in front of Place de Jaude and 500 metres from the cathedral, this 24-hour reception hotel offers a bar, a terrace and air-conditioned rooms with a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities. Very nice room. Staff were very helpful and kind. Very comfortable. Parking good. Good location. For the sights and restaurants.

This 19th-century hotel is located in the centre of beautiful Mont Dore, and makes a wonderful base for exploring the Massif du Sancy. Beautiful, grand old hotel in the heart of Mont-Dore, perfectly located for walking around downtown. The breakfast was outstanding—eggs, pastries, hot oats, and more (French eggs really are superior!). Our room was lovely, with a full bed and a twin, ideal since I tend to twitch at night. Just note there’s no lift/elevator, which may matter for some travelers.

Terrassiga Auberge du Prieuré asub Saint-Angelis, Neuvic d'Usseli golfiväljakust 22 km kaugusel. Tubades on suitsetamine keelatud. WiFi-ühendus on tasuta. The auberge provides everything you need when travelling and the rooms etc have been recently constructed to a very good standard. Breakfast was not provided but croissants etc were obtained from a nearby patisserie to accompany coffee provided in the restaurant adjoining the auberge. Saint Angel was good for an evening stroll.

A really excellent little room, comfortable and clean with lovely attention to detail. The location is perfect, right in the old town. Annick was extremely welcoming and looked after us very well. The breakfast, partly homemade, was a lovely feature. It also made a big difference to have a private off-road car parking space. All in all, highly recommended.

Château de Codignat asub Lezoux's, 26 km kaugusel kontserdimajast Zénith d'Auvergne. Kohapeal on hooajaline välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja terrass. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Staff was very accommodating. Charming property.

Aiavaatega La Villa des Sources asub Langognes, 42 km kaugusel kultuurikeskusest Culturel et de Congrès Pierre Cardinal ja Le Puy katedraalist. we had dinner there in with the other guests and pleasant conversation with fellow travellers and our host Roman. Fab area, to stay in and travel through.
