Recently renovated room, very nice, spacious and with a comfortable bed. Very good breakfast served in a dedicated area, the owners are very kind and helpful. Convenient location for visiting the center of Autun.

The Hotel de la Poste is much more than a place to rest—it's a living testament to Avallon’s vibrant history. Founded centuries ago as a stop for travelers and dignitaries alike, the hotel has hosted everyone from literary figures to royalty. Its walls echo with stories of grand celebrations and whispered secrets, giving every guest the sense of stepping into a narrative that continues to unfold. The rooms at Hotel de la Poste are a masterclass in blending historical charm with contemporary luxury. Each suite is individually decorated, featuring elegant French furnishings, sumptuous fabrics, and thoughtful touches that evoke a sense of timeless beauty. Modern amenities—such as high-speed Wi-Fi, climate control, and a state-of-the-art bathroom—were seamlessly integrated, offering every comfort without sacrificing character. A particularly memorable encounter was meeting Julien at his antique shop, Maison des Brocanteurs. His passion for history and storytelling was infectious, and he graciously shared insights into the treasures on display—a delightful extension of the hotel’s own character. Dining at Le 1815, the hotel’s acclaimed restaurant, was an unforgettable highlight. Le 1815 delivers culinary artistry at its finest. The sense of family and welcome permeated every interaction, making my husband and me feel not just like a guest, but cherished friends.

Hiljuti renoveeritud Le gîte du Sorcier 89 asub Avallonis, Vézelay basiilikast 16 km ja Pré Lamy golfiväljakust 43 km kaugusel. What a unique apartment. The apartment is very cozy and clean. We enjoyed our stay there. The location is also great for exploring Avalon old town. We stayed for one night only on our way south, but we are already planning to come back and stay longer.

Excellent location, clean, spacious & comfortable apartment with healthy amount of sunlight & everything we need to prepare meals in the kitchenette. Ophelie was superb, fast in responding & even extended a hand to help with some logistic difficulties we faced. This is among the best lodging we have been in the 15 years of traveling in nearly 40 countries

Patricia is an excellent host, warm, friendly and welcoming. Her home is beautiful . Ideal for cyclists and pilgrims. Our evening meal was in her beautiful garden.

Aiaga majutusasutus château de millery asub Saint-Forgeotis, 7,1 km kaugusel Autuni golfiväljakust ja 34 km kaugusel Morvani piirkondlikust looduspargist. The castle is beautiful indoor and outdoor, very authentic. The welcome was friendly and awesome. For sure we will come back for a longer stay

The studio is quiet, with sunlight and carefully equipped with everything necessary. The check in was smoothly done thanks to Christophe, the efficient and friendly host.
