Could not find late check in desk. Some reasonable signage would help. Also on departure could not find way out ;) kept running around the same crossings.

Basecamp Wales offers family-run hostel accommodation in Llanllyfni, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park and 30.3 km from Pen-Y-Pass and 8.2 km to the beach at Dinas Dinlle. Nice place, clean room. Big and well equipped shared kitchen. The staff is very friendly. There are also some lamas and the kids were happy to feed them.

It is such a perfect place. Beautiful setting by the water, beautiful village with its wonderful ‘follies’ (the buildings) and the hotel and rooms are all lovely. The two restaurants are excellent too. It’s the perfect ‘treat’! We also love to watch The Prisoner on the tv when there to take in the 60s vibe and culture and see the buildings as they were used.

Situated within Snowdonia National Park, Aberdunant Hall is a 17th-century property set within 200-acres of woodland on an idyllic upmarket Holiday Home Park. Lovely view of the distant mountains from the outdoor verandah. The Cabina cabin was just so sweet with a loft, with kitchenette facilities and ample couch in the sitting area.
