Everyone was super helpful and sorted our private transfer to the volcano and then onto lake toba at an amazing price! Our driver was also very friendly! The rooms are amazing and the location is perfect!

I have found my go-to stay on the Samosir island. This place is clean, has amazing view of the Lake Toba, has durians, has cute cats, is quiet, has air conditioner, has comfortable bed, at an authentic and strategic location to explore north and south of Samosir island, and is walking distance to restaurants and local foods. And rest assured that Dimmer (the host) will take care of you and make arrangements for you - Truly the best homestay I have ever stayed at in a very beautiful place.

JungleGuide - Aia ja ühise puhkeruumiga Lodges & Restaurant asub Bukit Lawangis. Toateenindusega majutusasutuses on ka veepark. Our stay with the jungle guide team in Bukit Lawang was truly a highlight of our trip to Sumatra! From start to finish, everything about the experience was seamless and unforgettable. We booked everything directly with them, and it couldn’t have been easier. Yussuf, the very nice driver, picked us up from the airport and drove us to the accommodation, making the start of our adventure stress-free. Upon arrival, the entire team welcomed us warmly, and we felt comfortable right away. The location of the accommodation was absolutely incredible—nestled in the middle of the green and above a waterfall, it was the perfect escape into nature. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was always full of good vibes and laughter. We also booked the jungle trek with them, and it was beyond amazing. Our guide, Wahyu, was exceptional! He shared so much knowledge about the jungle, gave us all the time we needed to soak it all in, and made the trek unforgettable. Thanks to him, we saw 9 orangutans and had some truly magical moments in the wild. The entire team was so lovely and fun to be around—they really made our stay special. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend everyone to stay here and book the jungle tour with them. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

SECOND HOPE LODGE asub Padangis, 2,7 km kaugusel Samudra rannast. Kohapeal on aed, terrass ja grillimisvahendid. Majutusasutus asub 700 meetri kaugusel Siti Nurbaya sillast ja pakub kogu päeva valvet.... One of the best homestays I’ve stayed at in my 4 months of traveling SE Asia. Very comfortable private room with great air conditioning. The staff are extremely helpful with any recommendations or help you may need.

This is the most amazing place to stay. I've been to the jungle in India, Borneo and the Phillipines but Rambai Tree Eco Jungle Huts not only provided the most comfortable accommodation but they made us feel like family ❤️🙏. Romi and Tia communicated efficiently and clearly from the moment I booked, several months ago. They provided a very reasonably priced, friendly and knowledgeable return airport shuttle - Wayhu, and the best guides - Ronie and Nanda. We saw Orangutans, Gibbons, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, and a monitor lizard in just a half day trek! As well as being visited daily by the local Macaque troop and several large bats. Tia cooked us the most fantastic farewell dinner and we were genuinely sad to leave. Nothing was too much trouble for them ❤️

Sumatra Expedition Lodge on hiljuti renoveeritud külalistemaja Bukit Lawangis, kus külalised saavad nautida oma aeda ja baari. Terrassiga majutusasutuses on tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. We had the best time at Sumatra expedition lodge. The room was spacious, clean and had air con and a fan. The family were lovely and the workers were so friendly and helpful. We had amazing meals at the lodge (our favourite the tempeh rengdeng). We also did a jungle trek organised by the lodge. We had the most incredible day with our tour guide Oman and his helper Onkey (sorry if wrong spelling). Oman was so great with 20 plus years of experience in the jungle he was so knowledgeable and we saw so much beautiful jungle and wildlife. He also deeply cared about the environment and was a great advocate for animal wellbeing and safety. We were fortunate enough to see lots of monkeys and observe the orangutan’s up close. Definitely recommend 10/10
