He even provided a room for our driver since we arrived much later than expected due to the long line of vehicles waiting to get on the ferry from Parapat to Samosir. We really appreciated everything he did for us.

But without a doubt, the best thing about it all is the staff. From the person who picked me up at the airport to everyone who works at the hotel, they all try to make you feel comfortable and like family. I definitely want to go back there. I booked my personal transport, lodging, and jungle trekk and a cooking class with them; everything was beautiful.

This is the most amazing place to stay. I've been to the jungle in India, Borneo and the Phillipines but Rambai Tree Eco Jungle Huts not only provided the most comfortable accommodation but they made us feel like family ❤️🙏. Romi and Tia communicated efficiently and clearly from the moment I booked, several months ago. They provided a very reasonably priced, friendly and knowledgeable return airport shuttle - Wayhu, and the best guides - Ronie and Nanda. We saw Orangutans, Gibbons, Thomas Leaf Monkeys, and a monitor lizard in just a half day trek! As well as being visited daily by the local Macaque troop and several large bats. Tia cooked us the most fantastic farewell dinner and we were genuinely sad to leave. Nothing was too much trouble for them ❤️

Likewise, when you sleep, you are accompanied by the sound of crashing waves which makes you sleep soundly

I cannot recommend this stay enough. Dila, the host, was exceptional and so kind hearted that it taught me so much during my short 3 days there. It is a nice quiet location, and you can tell that Dila has put her all into making sure the guests have an amazing time. She is always there to answer questions and do everything she can to make you comfortable. She cooks a delicious breakfast with her sister, and likes to take her guests around Padang and show them beautiful things like the clear blue river deep in the village. Stuff you would never find on your own. She even noticed I liked crystals and rocks and showed me a crystal shop I would not have been aware of. I will always cherish my stay here.

Orangutan Villa & Ethical Jungle Treks ligger i Timbanglawang och har trädgårdsutsikt, en restaurang, en bar, en trädgård, en terrass och rumsservice. We spent 3 nights in the Villa. We were extremely well received by the manager "Dady Cool" and his team. Everyone is kind, friendly and caring!!! They are available at any time of day to help you with anything! We also went for a jungle trekking that was just amazing ! I totally recommend booking activities with them ! For the villa, you'll find everything you need in your room (and if something missing, they will do their best to help) On top of that, the breakfast and the whole dining menu are really delicious. Don't hesitate to eat there, you won't regret it Thanks again to all the team for the amazing moments we spent there !
