This home is an easy walk from the ferry. The host was very reachable via email. This is an entire two bedroom home that you are renting. The kitchen is fully equipped, so if you would like to cook a meal, it is definitely possible. However, the pub, Joe Watty’s is just at the end of the lane if you prefer to go for a pint or a meal. I loved that this facility had a washer/dryer so I was able to get some washing done. Very helpful and thoughtful. I also loved the full kitchen, even though we didn’t get a chance to cook, because I was able to wash and sanitize our water bottles. The host had prepared a binder filled with helpful tips about the property as well as several pages of information of what to do/see on the island.

Set on Aran Islands 6-5 km from Kilronan port, Aran Walkers Lodge features a garden, a terrace and free WiFi. We offer a complete complimentary breakfast. Sean and Brenda were very welcoming and made sure I had all I needed as a solo traveler with a knee injury. The room was bright, clean and warm. The lodge was located to some of the islands most popular sites

Sleeping here is a true experience, just silence and the sound of waves! The owners are friendly and welcoming, their recommendations on places for food and music were so useful. We had a delicious full irish breakfast.

Tigh Fitz is a charming, family-owned property that has been in the Fitzpatrick family for generations. Penny is a wonderful host. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was great.
