The family had it classified as a national monument to be able to pay the upkeep and continue to live there. The cook make the delicious daily menu for dinner and everyone who wishes to eats together. The multicultural owners (father and son) are there to talk to with guests on a deeper level than just organizing drivers (which they do well also). Appreciated their openness and generosity.

The room had everything that I needed, it was nice and clean.
The location of accommodation is perfect, it is on the most touristic spot in Srinagar and you can watch boats sailing from your houseboat.
The owners were really nice and friendly people, they were ready to help every time.

We recently stayed at a hostel located near Manu Temple, and it was an incredible experience. The views of the mountains were breathtaking, and everything about our stay was perfect. The accommodations were comfortable and cozy.
