The Sherpa family are amazing, and the staff at the hotel go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Nima organised a local driver for 3 days who took us to markets, local sight seeing and all the way back to namchi/pelling. Our Gangtok trip wouldn’t have been so amazing/easy without their help. They even lent us jackets for Tsmogo Lake. Aunty’s cooking was so delicious that we ate at the home stay every night. Coming from Australia, we were a bit bewildered with how far apart towns and cities are and they explained and recommended how to do Sikkim after Gangtok. The view from the home stay is incredible, so glad we chose here at the top of the Gangtok hills for the views

A hidden gem in Pelling! This farm stay is the ultimate destination when visiting this region. Surrounded by nature and offering a breathtaking view, we could even see the Kangchenjunga from our bed. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. We particularly cherished our dinner and breakfast on the hotel's terrace. However, it's essential to have plenty of patience because communicating with the staff can be challenging, and understanding each other is even more so. The farm stay is located approximately 35 minutes on foot from the nearest town, and the staff wasn't very helpful in arranging transportation, even a taxi (referred to as a tourist vehicle). One important note: Despite what booking.com may indicate about free booking and cancellation, a 10% deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

The Di-Lac Retreat is situated in Gangtok and features a terrace. Among the various facilities are a shared lounge and a restaurant. Both free WiFi and private parking are available on site. The Di-Lac is an excellent choice for a place to stay in Gangtok. It has a more traditional Sikkimese home feel about it with a wonderfully friendly and helpful owner and staff - as opposed to commercial accommodations. The Di-Lac is located an ~10 minute, inexpensive, taxi ride above the main shopping and tourist area of Gangtok so one can have the hustle and bustle of the town or visiting local areas, and then retreat to the peace and calm of the Di-Lac perched high on the hillside above the town with the whole of Gangtok below. From your room balcony, the lounge, or dining area a panorama of Gangtok dwellings extends before you - to the left and right stretching out to distant hills beyond which rise the Himalayas, with only the sky above. The rooms are clean, tidy, comfortable and nicely furnished. The bedding is clean, the mattress good, the bed warm and comfortable. Di-Lac breakfast and meals can be taken in the dining area with that panoramic view - or can be taken in your room. Good wholesome food. The owner and staff are delightfully warm, friendly and helpful local people who will look after you during your stay at the Di-Lac, making you feel right at home, and will assist you with all other aspects of your time in Sikkim - arranging tours, booking vehicles, advising places to see and things to do in Gangtok and other places in Sikkim to make your stay at the Di-Lac a truly pleasant and memorable experience.

Cosmic Buddha Bnb อยู่ในกังต็อก ในระยะ 1.2 กม.จากจุดชมวิวคเณศต็อก และ 3.8 กม. The place is really nice and clean. I am sure because its recently opened. Met the host Hersh there. Such a good vibe he is. Happy to have good travel experience after long time. Must recommended for travellers and backpackers.

Hotel Rashak - Mg Marg มีทำเลที่ตั้งอยู่ในกังต็อก ห่างจากอาราม Do Drul Chorten 2.1 กม. Room was so clean and cozy and price is also reasonable will visit next time for sure ❣️ And the staff was so friendly and make us comfortable to talk and know about the places

Lotus Zen Stay อยู่ในกังต็อก ห่างจากสถาบันทิเบตศึกษา Namgyal 800 ม. และห่างจากอาราม Do Drul Chorten 900 ม. The polite and supportive behavior of the owner helped me a lot...nice location

The Blue House ตั้งอยู่ในเปลลิงของภูมิภาค Sikkim และให้บริการที่พักพร้อมอินเทอร์เน็ตไร้สาย (WiFi) ฟรีและที่จอดรถส่วนตัวฟรี บางยูนิตมีพื้นที่นั่งเล่นและ/หรือระเบียง The Blue House... I really like the ambience and the vibes here are really calming. My children also enjoyed the place and the staff here were soft spoken and child friendly too. The food was also good be it paneer tikka or dal fry. Their signature dish was really good.

Nabhasa Courtyard Home & Apartment Stay ตั้งอยู่ห่างจาก Banjhakri Falls and Park 500 ม. The comfort of the large apartment and hospitality of the owners was exceptional. The family went out of their way to welcome me into their home and this had real value to me as a solo traveller. I wish I had planned a longer stay!
