Excellent location, in a remote village in the middle of Chianti region. The place is rather large, with many rooms (at least ten). Room was ok, but it was on the 3rd floor (4th for my American friends) and this might pose a problem for those with mobility issues. Pool was nice, but unheated, so the water was on the 'refreshing' side, early September. Excellent breakfast buffet. Great wines at the bar. Staff very nice and professional. Most speak at least a little English. Parking is free and plenty. About the location: the village of San Sano is very small but gorgeous. There are are few great restaurants within driving range (particularly in Lecchi). Bike rentals available in Gaioli.

The accommodation was beautiful, modern, clean, and very comfortable. The furnishings were tasteful and practical, and all the necessary amenities were available. The hospitality was excellent; the host was extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. Thank you also for the amazing olive oil! The location is perfect for a relaxing stay. The breakfast was delicious. We arrived for the night at the charming farm. We arrived with 3 children under the age of 10. They welcomed us warmly and we were given the last cabin with the gorgeous view. The house is compact and clean. The balcony is a bit hot in the middle of the day but a large parasol is there for shade. In the morning and evening it is pleasant to sit on the balcony with the sun behind. The jacuzzi on the balcony was a wonderful experience. In the afternoon we entered it with cool water and in the evening we filled it with hot water and enjoyed a pleasant experience in nature.

Absolutely everything! We were greeted by Antonio who showed us around the property. Amazingly refurbished attic in an old city centre building. Fabulous attention to detail all over the property. Room has wi-fi, Netflix access, ac and is refurbished with quirky old school details. Bathroom amenities were great, plush towels and fab space organization. Common kitchen is like from a Tuscan home magazine. You prepare your own breakfast but everything is pre-set; espresso, yogurts, soft drinks ks, brioche, cake. It helps that you have an amazing view over the town and Sansepolcro. We have forgotten our ID’s in previous place and Antonio has organized to get them back with no issues. Would love to return to this place on some other time to enjoy Anghiari more.
