Great stay altogether! Clean, freshly renovated, cozy hotel. Very comfortable and beautifully designed. Food at the restaurant was amazing and delicious. It felt very homey and great vibes from day one. Service from everyone was above and beyond. Staff was attentive, friendly and really welcoming. Actually they made the stay really fun! We stayed here for seven days and it was more than great!!! The staf is really friendly and helpful. You can ask anything and they fix it. The rooms are looking brand new and have fantastic beds! We stayed in two different rooms. We enjoyed our balcony with the drinks (with a lot of extra’s) served by the staff! Our dog was more than welcome and had a little present on arrival. We would definitely recommend Grande Cote Room and breakfast!

Mariano and Mariana are exceptionally kind and friendly, they went out of their way to make our stay wonderful! The rifugio is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and warm. Breakfast is delicious and the coffee is fantastic!! We stayed for four nights and had the best time. The other guests were so awesome and we had a great time catching up over drinks and dinner! The process of skiing back to the rifugio was perhaps a little challenging for the beginner skiers in our group but it was no problem for them to walk some of the steeper red sections on the way home. Thank you Mariana and Mariano - I hope we get the chance to visit Rifugio Baita Gimont again.

I travelled following the stage of Tour de France. During the stay, everything was perfect. The owners are very kind and prepared a delicious and rich breakfast, with local products and homemade marmelades. The place is in a very tranquil zone, but very close to the centre of Briancon. Hope to come back in future.
