This property is located a short distance from attractions such as Old Stock Exchange Building, Rossetti Theatre, and Verdi Theatre. Free WiFi is available and Faro della Vittoria is 2.8 km away. We booked this one day before arrival as our other accommodation wasn't what we expected so we weren't expecting 5 star glamour or anything! The staff were great and it was easy and hassle free to check in and out, they even gave us some tips on places to go and gave us a map of the city. The room was nice, the bed was unbelievably comfortable and the bathroom was great with a brilliant shower. There was a kettle with some snacks, tea and coffee and also a mini bar if you wanted anything else (extra charge but not crazy prices). I really liked the fact that you could open the windows fully unlike with a lot of hotels where you can just barely get some air in (this could be due to there being decorative metal window bars outside for security reasons I guess), but with it being quite warm and not liking using air conditioning (which the room also had) this was great. The hotel was located just at the end of the main street and about 5/10 minutes walk from the main train and bus stations. Perfect for being close to everywhere without being surrounded by crowds and noise.

Rooms at Hotel Alla Dolina overlook the Mediterranean Sea, the garden or the nearby wood. Each includes a private bathroom complete with hairdryer. We liked everything at this hotel. The staff was polite and kind, explaining us nicely everything we needed to know. The breakfast was very good and rich, had everything that you needed, even options for gluten free menu and even the coffee was good. The location is excelent, has a free private parking and bus station right in front of the hotel. Very good if you want to relax and just take the bus to Trieste or Miramare castel. The room is basic, but clean, with a good bed, a good air conditioner and a perfect window sound isolation. I would come back here definitely.

The breakfast can be served outdoors on sunny days, or in the elegant Sala Stucchi of the Hotel Continentale. This morning treat includes hot and cold dishes, and both savoury and sweet food, such as freshly baked croissants and omelettes. Spacious apartment with a beautiful view of the city centre. 8 (!) windows and each one has a nice balcony. Perfectly working sanitary ware, nice bathroom, comfortable beds. The flat was warm and the climate control system worked well. A very fancy coffee machine does not make you doubt where the best coffee in the world is.
