AQUILA D'ORO TRIESTE is truly exceptional, a gem of a place conveniently located close to the train station, and also not far from the centre and Canal Grande. To get in was very easy for me, since I met the manager at the door when I was wondering about how to get in. And: if arriving outside normal hours check in time will have to be agreed upon. No breakfast. That I was given a farewell gift, a necklace, was an unexpected bonus.

We stayed here overnight before our cruise and the location is the best because the cruise ship is right across the street and the train station is walking distance! There are so many delicious restaurants around and the surroundings are beautiful! Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience in Trieste!

The staff was friendly, check in quick and efficient, the room was clean with a much appreciated welcome basket. The location was great, close to Trieste Centrale (train station- cca 500m) and close to the city center, ie the busy areas etc.

All apartments have a dining area, sofa and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The private bathrooms come with free toiletries. The staff were so accommodating- I made an error and they remedied it with a smile on their faces. It was a fantastic building and apartment- there was an elevator, airconditioning, a washing machine, everything was really contemporary inside. The sleeper couch was really comfortable. The balcony was great. We were very happy with our stay.

Rooms at Hotel Alla Dolina overlook the Mediterranean Sea, the garden or the nearby wood. Each includes a private bathroom complete with hairdryer. I like very much the location of the hotel in Sistiana. The beach was very beatiful. The bed had an exception quality. Espcially for us who have back pain the quality of the bed made everything very pleasant. The colorful breakfast was delicious. Before comming to the hotel we were worried about that the hotel is located near to the main street. But the hotel was equiped with a good sound proofing system when we kept the windows closed and it had a comfortable air conditioning system.
