Well set in Hiroshima, Hilton Hiroshima offers 4-star accommodation close to Myoei-ji Temple and Hiroshima City Minami Ward Community Cultural Center. Providing a restaurant, the property also has a bar, as well as an indoor pool and a sauna. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a concierge service and currency exchange for guests. General facilities were great. Having access to an iron and ironing board was a bonus. Bathroom was our favourite on our trip, and extremely roomy. Beds and pillows were also the best on our holiday. Views were spectacular from 11th floor. Staff were extremely helpful.

Private parking is available on site. - amazing rooftop onsen (from the women’s bath little window you can see the castle!) - with free ice cream afterwards - big rooms, with comfortable beds and cute decorations to give a traditional feeling (even the ceiling had 2 different types of wood paneling. Mine had a view of the canal. Higher ones could have a castle or lake view. - amazing breakfast buffet, with a lot of local specialties (Izumo soba, zenzai…) - within walking distance of the castle and historical houses.

The reception at the accommodation can provide tips on the area. Very kind and friendly staff, in particular the lady that welcomed us at the reception the first day, but all the others were very kind too. The room was spacious and very nice, actually feels like a mini appartement. Looking forward to stay here again sometime during our future travels.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes walk from the castle. I could even see a piece of the castle between the houses from the balcony of the room. The staff is super polite, sincere and friendly and speaks excellent English. I was glad to have the opportunity to practice Japanese and I am grateful that they all used simple Japanese. I was given a complimentary coffee upon check-in. In the evening, it was interesting to try shōchū for the first time in the hotel's bar. The design of the room is incredible, very modern and cozy! The walls in the room are thin, so you can hear other guests talking, but no one was noisy, so I slept well. The lavender soap also helped. For breakfast, I chose a hot dog and tea. It was delicious and filling. You can buy some denim staff at the hotel. Only after the tour of the castle did I learn that it is locally produced, and I regret not buying anything. Well, next time! I really liked Fukuyama Castle, Sanzo Inari Shrine, art and history museums. I didn't have time to visit the Holocaust Education Center and Fukuyama Auto & Clock Museum, and my visit in Kusado Inari Shrine was very short, so I would like to travel to Fukuyama again. And next time I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Fukuyama and kind people of Fukuyama will stay in my heart.

We hope your stay in Miyajima will be full of unforgettable memories and wonderful encounters. The property was amazing and the host was super kind and polite. The room was an old style Japanese room with futon. Breakfast and dinner were also good. Bathrooms are shared but very clean. The common area is a plus where you can meet other people and share experiences. I totally recommend it.

Coming off of a long flight in the evening, we didn’t want to make our way into the city. It is a 2 minute walk from the airport. Very clean. Very convenient.
