Onyado Nono Matsue Natural Hot Spring ligger i Matsue, 1,7 km från Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum, och erbjuder 4-stjärnigt boende med ett spa- och hälsocenter. Rummet var stort och ljust. Mycket bra och varierad frukost. Youghurt med färska jordgubbar uppskattades. Fint onsen med bad både ute och inne.

Randor Hotel Hiroshima Prestige ligger perfekt beläget i centrala Hiroshima och har gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen och en terrass. Detta hotell med 4 stjärnor har bagageförvaring. Hotel Randor Prestige is just a five minute walk from the Hiroshima train station. The rooms are very spacious with two double beds and a kitchenette area. The bathroom too is large with a big bathtub and shower area with Great shower pressure and hot water The washing machine was a welcome addition. They do not clean the room daily but we had no issues as we stayed only for two nights The rooms are clean with a nice big window which had efficient black out curtains. The mattress was a little on the harder side. Location was convenient just a minute from the tram station to take you to the sights of Hiroshima. A good hotel at the right price with lots of space.

UNO HOTEL ligger i Tamano, 21 km från Hashihime Inari Daimyojin Shrine, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård, gratis privat parkering, en gemensam lounge och en terrass. This hotel is in a quiet town in a really central location to reach the islands in the Seto Inland sea. It is right opposite the station and port, and so easy to find. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with great beds and balconies you actually want to sit on. Toilet is separate from the bathroom which we always love! The real point of difference re. this hotel though is the Japanese bathhouse and restaurant which are a short walk down the road behind the hotel. Use of the onsen is complimentary for hotel residents and we used it every day we were there. The onsen facilities are very comfortable and atmospheric and the food/ambience in the restaurant is wonderful and not at all expensive. After big days of walking around Teshima and Naoshima it was so lovely to come back here on the ferry and just relax.

HOTEL PROMOTE HIROSHIMA ligger i centrala Hiroshima, 12 minuters promenad från Hiroshimas fredsminnespark, och erbjuder luftkonditionerade rum och gratis WiFi. Trevligt och lugnt hotell med bra läge (flera spårvagnsstopp nära och gångavstånd till Peace museum och peace park). Vi hade turen att bli uppgraderade och njöt av ett större rum med flera faciliteter. Stort tack för det!

Anchor Hotel Fukuyama ligger i Fukuyama, 5 minuters promenad från Fukuyama Castle Museum, och har en trädgård, en terrass och en bar. Det var den trevligaste personalen vi varit med om! Vi bodde där bara en natt, men hade gärna stannat ett tag till. Perfekt läge nära stationen, snyggt och prydligt. 10/10 :)

Drop Inn Tottori ligger i centrala Tottori, bara 5 minuters promenad från Tottori Station och 3 minuters promenad från Tottori Station. Stayed here for 3 nights - based myself here when returning from Matsue, intending to travel around Tottori & Kurayoshi. Service was excellent, there's a short hair bespectacled female staff who speaks excellent English, having worked in Osaka. Very helpful who gave great information on places of attraction & helped me dry my shoes when I was caught in the rain. She mentioned the boss wanted to ensure guests have ample space & didn't build a double storey bed in the cabin hotel area, unlike most cabin hotels. As another reviewer has mentioned, I'm able to stand in the cabin without my head hitting anything. Very well located, bus terminal (local & Highway bus to Osaka/Kyoto), Tottori JR station, Aeon mall are few minutes away on foot. As it's located in a relatively quiet area, it's not noisy. They also have daily evening complimentary drink for guests where you can sample local whisky, sake or cocktails. Rooms are clean & extremely affordable, highly recommend!

Hotel Cycle ligger i sydöstra Hiroshima och erbjuder enkelt men elegant boende med gratis Wi-Fi i alla utrymmen. Tågstationen JR Onomichi ligger bara 5 minuters promenad bort. The location of the Hotel Cycle is perfect. on the waterfront and a 7 minute walk from the train station. The bakery is wonderful for all your breakfast or afternoon needs to enjoy either inside or in the sunny promenade. Highly recommend the restaurant, service, food fabulous and make sure to have fruit gin and tonic. Comfortable beds, washing machines on site and a big deep bath for soaking after a day or twos bike riding. All staff amazing from the people at the front reception desk to the staff in the restaurant. Don’t miss this town and place on your next trip to Japan.

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). I liked the atmosphere, the fact that you can meet others and exchange opinions on your journey and the traditional bath was really good.
