The hotel is located in the bit remote area of Mito, which is not very touristic, but still very nice. Rooms were very spacious and absolutely clean, along with incredibly friendly staff and wonderful service. Changing breakfeast options from traditional Japanese to continental. We will visit again, fullest recommendation!

After the fast pace of Tokyo and Kanto GOEMON was absolutely perfect. Like stepping into a Time Machine back to Japan 150+ years ago into a house that would have been the home of a rich merchant or Samurai. GOEMON was absolutely perfect and so breathtakingly beautiful. The family and myself loved it. It’s a bit out of the way HOWEVER don’t hesitate to book and stay here. Also if you need there’s a supermarket 5 minutes away by car. Japanese say “Wabi Sabi”. And that sums up GOEMON

Excellent location, overpass from Mito Station leads direct to Hotel, down stairs & to the front door. Reception staff very helpful & friendly, left luggage ok. Key for room & staff check in was great. Breakfast was really fresh & plentiful & staff lovely, not rushed. Our room was Huge, couch, table chairs & big bathroom & bath.Didn't use Onsen.

BEB5 Tsuchiura by Hoshino Resorts is set in Tsuchiura, within 45 km of Nagata Park and 46 km of Yoshikawa City Local Museum.
