Accommodation in Itako

Traditional tatami floored room, two bath onsen and local produce used in diner menu. Breakfast buffet was spoiled for choice and included some western 'continental' options

It was the most convenient location and the room we had was bigger than expected. The breakfast buffet there is also amazing. This town was absolutely gorgeous and the convenience of it being next to the station makes it even better. We also went to a tonkatsu restaurant not too far a walk away called " Tonkatsu and Ramen Hanayoshi" the tonkatsu was so delicious

Route Inn App is very useful for check-in. Welcoming check^in with a good explanation of the facilities. Wifi was easy to access, and at a high speed. Good location close to the main highway. Large car park. Good-sized, clean and well-equipped room with comfortable beds. Usual filling breakfast with a good choice of menu. Evening restaurant serves great meals, good range of foods, and excellent value.

The reasonably priced hotel yet the room is much bigger and comfortable. The hotel building is next to the onsen, public bath was a huge bonus! A few restaurants and cafe within the building. What was amazing was there was a proper bus station with a waiting room/seats that loops between tokyo central area and the hotel, direct bus is available!!

The room was clean & nice. The receptionist was very friendly & helpful, the hotel have free parking lot, free coffee & tea in the room. Check in & check out time is 15h & 11h.

The house owner is a nice old lady. She would use google translate to communicate with us.

Lovely old house that feels like it was an actual home. Aged but well taken care of. One western style bedroom and 2 tatami rooms for futons. Air conditioning throughout with both heating and cooling functions. Large living/dining room with sofas and courtyard garden which looked reasonably well maintained. Parking space. Modern toilet, separate dressing/sink area, and a large, deep bathtub with auto-fill technology. About 10min walk from the Katori Shrine where a bus is available to/from the train station. Clear instructions from the host so we were easily able to get the keys. Nice space for our small group to hang out in the living area while having our privacy in separate bedrooms. Would expect it to be very suitable for a family.

Warm and wholesome environment (super nice host!), great shower and communal spaces! Also good having a kitchen available. Convenient location as well.

Lovely architecture, interior and steps away from the old town. Kids enjoyed the onsen bath and the comfy beds prepared for them.

Enough clean towels & clean room, good showers
