The location inside the airport is very convenient for those who depart early in the morning. The electrical plugs inside the capsules are not really working well, but otherwise everything is comfortable and very clean.

Good hotel for night before or after flight. Check-in went quite smooth, even though we arrived with quite a lot of people with the airport shuttle bus.
Shuttle bus in the morning was well arranged and nice on time as well. In general friendly people as well. Even though room felt a bit old it was spacious and served its purpose.

The ANA Crowne Plaza Narita is a very modern looking hotel with an outstanding art and designed lobby .
The reception staff were very friendly and professional in there greeting and service . You were provided
with all the information that was required and in no time I was inside my room which was spacious and of excellent
cleanliness . They have a convenience store inside the lobby and the breakfast restaurant had a wide range of delicious food . All of the staff that I interacted with were very courteous and kind .

A warm welcome from friendly and professional staff who provided excellent customer service from beginning to end. Reception very kindly waived the fee one hour after check-out and called a taxi to the airport on their own initiative. The hotel is nicely furnished with a comfortable room, convenient laundry facility and a reasonably-priced breakfast buffet.

Best place to stay in so far before heading home or when arriving at night from another country.
Rooms are large, installations are good, and they got free bus shuttles to the airport (please remember to check the schedule).

The uniqueness of a hotel that’s fairly close to the airport .. glad we chose this for our last night in japan .. we arrived about 4:30pm . Dropped bags and went directly to see what we could of the town and temple. The temple was empty as close to 6pm and was a beautiful temple / surrounds unique to others we visited so glad we squeezed that in ! Everything was perfect / clean / quality shower etc . The onsen bathing was a fun experience to top off our trip ! Recommend!! Be aware if you want a meal you need to advise 3 days ahead . We did not eat at the property so cannot comment on that . Great Japanese hospitality!

Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) Information
Location and Transport
Set 37 miles (60 kilometres) east of Tokyo, Tokyo Narita International Airport is set between the towns of Narita and Shibayama. Central Tokyo can be reached in 36 minutes by Keisi Skyliner Express or the Narita Express which takes 50 minutes. Both stop at terminals 1 and 2 (there’s a bus link between terminals 2 and 3). Taxis stop at each terminal and cost around JPY 16000 to get to Tokyo’s Zone A.
Nearby Hotels and Airport Facilities
There are a few hotels located by the terminals with more found in Narita and many offering a shuttle service. Shops can be found in all terminals, but the biggest selections are in terminals 1 and 2. You’ll find eateries dishing up traditional Japanese cuisine, as well as venues serving food from further afield. There are often cultural exhibitions with past shows including Ukiyo-e printing, a tea ceremony and Bonsai tree displays.
Terminal Information
Terminals 1 and 2 offer most amenities, with Terminal 1 acting as a hub for major airlines like Japan Air and Delta. Terminal 3 is where most low-cost airlines leave from, and you can reach the larger terminals (and train stations) by shuttle bus or foot.

This feels like a truck stop town of some sort.
This feels like a truck stop town of some sort. So there's a busy through road with a cute little town attached at a junction. It also appears to feed labor to Narita and has some small industry embedded. Small town vibes through and through.

If you are flying to Japan, I would not recommend using this Airport. It is very far from Tokyo and adds extra expense and time to your trip. If I returned, I would either fly into Haneda Airport or even Osaka and take a train to Tokyo if I needed to go there. Narita may be a great airport for connecting flights but to arrive or depart I would not use it again.

Katori is a charming area, where the historic buildings along the canal and river transport you to a bygone era. The quaint restaurants and coffee shops provide the perfect setting to relax and unwind. I imagine it’s livelier in the summer than it was during our winter visit. At times, I felt it was almost too perfect, lacking the energy of street life.
