Wonderful hotel overall with excellent facilities (tatami mats throughout, indoor/outdoor onsen, vending machines, laundry, library) and highly appreciated extras (free ramen at night, ice cream, etc.) that make a stay here feel luxurious. Despite the large volume of guests in December, it also managed to feel quite intimate if you avoid peak times for the onsen. Great service as well - I left an item in my room, and the staff stayed in communication with me for weeks until my friend came to retrieve it for me.

The location is exceptional. It's right in the heart of Shibuya but the rooms are quiet and nice. The breakfast is beyond delicious with western and traditional Japanese dishes. The Shibuya station, the scramble intersection and the Hachiko statue are just a couple minutes walk away from the Hotel. There's even a Don Quijote store right in front. I will definitely come back.

The hotel was clean and the customer service was excellent. The views were also incredible from the 35th floor: The reception organised our luggage delivery to the next stop without any issue the morning of checkout (I would leave an extra 10-15 mins for this process). The location was fantastic as it was right in the nightlife district and despite being the red light district at no point did we feel unsafe or uncomfortable however we were travelling as a couple. The main Shinjuku station (where you can catch JR trains) is about a 10 min walk but you can access this from the subway underground that is 5 mins away from the hotel.
