The onsen is wonderful — very relaxing, with few people, which creates a perfect atmosphere of peace and quiet. We truly enjoyed every moment here and spent an unforgettable time at the hotel. It’s a place where you can fully relax and recharge. What impressed us the most was the attitude of the staff — very kind, attentive, and welcoming. The hotel itself feels new, fresh, and extremely comfortable. We would definitely love to come back again. If we return to Hakone, we will choose only this hotel. Highly recommended to everyone!

I would recommend dinner if you don’t want to go outside after a day’s walking. It’s tasty and price is reasonable. Garden is pretty and onsens are great (I prefer left side one). It is located on slope and gate is not obvious especially at night but hotel offers shuttle.

As a vegan in Japan, you can have a hard time. However, I had great food at WPÜ: they provided me with additional breakfast bits and pieces (soy milk, rye bread, falafel, ...), and the dinner options (actually, many!) were just great! I really recommend that place for all fellow vegans!
