Accommodation in Hakone

Everything! The staff is welcoming and helpful. The room is prettier than in the picture, the ambience is magnificent. They take care of every single detail and take care of you every step of the way. We will definitely be back when in Gora!

Wonderful onsen and location. The bed in the dorm is larger than I expected.

The whole vibe of the hotel is really nice. They served the best dinner ! Also, their breakfast was good. We stayed in a room with private bathroom, and damn it was so nice. The room had a cabin-style with luxury touches in the bathroom.

Great place to stay in Hakone. The staff gave good tips for what to do in the area. The fire place in the evening was really nice, and the food options were delicious for dinner. We felt tired after a day of hiking and it was nice to just have a meal and drink at the accomodation.

After a busy week traveling in Japan, this is exactly the place you are looking for. Amazing outdoor onsen, great Japanese buffet breakfast, and lovely staff. The rooms are huge, especially considering the typical room sizes in Japan. It is a steep walk from the train station to the hotel, so it's better to take a taxi or request the local shuttle.

Our bedding was comfortable futons. Bedroom and bathroom was clean and spacious. Easy walking distance to sakura spots and the river.

Met some great people - also travellers. Good vibes. Great location: stone’s throw from the lake, bus stop, grocery store, shrine, and tori gate

The room and view were wonderful! Onsen felt nice, all kinds amenities were provided in our bathroom. Note that the Onsen is separate for men and women. Breakfast was tasty and it was great to be able to choose from different options when reserving the day before. Staff was attentive and friendly. Bus stop is only five minutes away (although the way to the hotel is quite steep) and buses run quite frequently. Careful, some buses are not covered by the Hakone free pass.

A really nice Ryokan find for our group. The outdoor Onsen was fantastic, and we enjoyed our time in it. The paid dinner was what I expect from a Ryokan and was nice enough.

The staff at the hotel were all amazingly friendly and accommodating. Some staff even speak 4 difference language. The breakfast were absolutely amazing. We did the Japanese breakfast and it was fabulous (I was not prepare for the natto, end up wasting the food). We totally enjoyed the private outdoor onsen however it need to make an reservation to use. It is first come first serve basis, I would recommend check-in early to have more time slot to choose. The hotel is right next to a bus stop so access is not an issue. It was a highlight of our trip for sure!

We really loved this accomodation, we are group of 5 friends, the accomodation is spacious and very cozy to live in. We appreciated code lock instead of regular key, the bathroom onsen was the absolute highlight of this house, very comfortable and big bath. The location is great as well, close to restaurants and convenience store. Even without car it is accessible, it's in mountainious area so it is not easiest to walk around but we had no issue with it. I would highly recommend to family or group of friends to relax here in this accomodation and explore Hakone from here! ;)

Really spacious and comfortable Great amenities

The host was super friendly! He picked us up from the busstop and also dropped us at the bus or train station if we wanted to go there. He also made a nice breakfast (Japanese curry or scrambled eggs with sausages). The house is big and everything you need is there. You need to share the bathroom and kitchen. Our room was large and had a bed and a couch. The surroundings are beautiful.

​A perfect traditional Japanese stay! Highly recommended! This traditional Japanese inn was absolutely amazing! I stayed here with my mother, and she fell in love with the spacious dining bar and the beautiful tatami rooms. Staying here offered us so much more than just a place to sleep for the night—it felt like we were genuinely experiencing local Japanese life. The kitchen was well-equipped, which allowed us to buy fresh ingredients from the supermarket and cook our own meals. Having dinner at the bar was incredibly cozy and relaxing. If you want to experience authentic Japanese living, this is the perfect place to stay!

The host was so so kind and accommodating! They were so warm and felt like staying at our home. Welcomed us with greeting card and Japanese sweets. That was Soo thoughtful. We stayed in Japan Fr 10days but this place was the besttt ever. They hv all the amenities and it was very convenient. The distance from station is so close. I would always recommend it to anyone. very good size compared to the typical hotel size in japan... with all necessary tools for cooking too. right next to the Odawara Fishing Port (Hayakawa Fishing Port), should be great for seafood lovers. there's a 7-11 nearby despite of the relatively remote location, there's a gas station just next to 7-11 too

We liked the actual property, there were 6 of us and the kids loved the window showing the river and the trains going past. Everythig was nice and clean and there were more than enough amenities available. I was so grateful there was even a complimentary scarf for me and they gave us more than enough bottles of water also. Thank you so much

We had a room with an onsen and it was amazing to be able to dip into our own pool at any time during our stay. The outdoor public onsen was also absolutely amazing, super clean and the garden was beautiful. There were a lot of accomodations for children, such as high chairs, cribs, and even a baby bath in the onsen area.

Great location only a 2min walk to the train station. Clean and spacious rooms. The Onsen was a highlight.

Open air onsen with room was clean and comfortable, kaiseki dinner and breakfast was delicious, staff were very friendly and helpful, free parking was convenient.

Loved it. Very homey. Great amenities. Free beer, softdrinks and snacks in the evening. Library with Manga. Play area, Family Onsen. Outdoor fire pit. A nice hotel to also stay in on rainy days.

Everything was perfect about this stay ! The room was wonderful ( Japanese style ) and very comfortable. The location was amazing , you literally walk only 1min to reach the bus station. The breakfast was perfect and the staff were incredibly nice. We definitely recommend this stay for 10000% you won’t be disappointed!

Authentic experience. Loads of Japanese characteristics fused with Balinese ones. Worked out perfectly for our short stay in Hakone.

Our experience staying at this Ryokan was excellent. Both the public and private onsens were of a good size, very relaxing, very clean. The hotel offered 24/7 drinks bar near every room. The western Japanese style room was very spacious. Both dinner and breakfast were traditional Japanese style. Everything was delicious and well presented. Staff were lovely! I will recommend this stay to friends and family.
