In house brewery and a whole lot more that I didn't get the chance to try on our two night stay.

The people were fun and kind. Highly recommend and definitely want to come back! I think it’s the best place to experience the Amami life.

Barbara was so kind and friendly and helpful. Her house is so beautiful and in a lovely location, a short walk to the beach and a bus stop. As others have said, it's a sort of communal living guesthouse which feels like you're living with housemates. I met some lovely people while staying there and we cooked and ate together. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Yakushima, particularly those with a car.

The accommodation provides a hot tub, free WiFi and family rooms. I loved my stay here, the bed was comfortable and the shower had great pressure. It was a bit out of the city center but right by the mountain and the port. The owners were super kind and make the best breakfast, they accommodated my vegetarian needs 😁 they also recommended a great tour guide for the main attractions around.
