Yuki is a special person who made this house a little gem. We were amazed by the tranquility, peace, and serenity of our stay. Everything was perfect: the futons were super comfortable, the decorations were fantastic, and even sharing the common areas was no problem, even though we weren't used to it. We always had our privacy, but we also had the opportunity to talk with Yuki and meet another traveler. We were very sorry to have to leave. We tried to enjoy the two nights as much as possible; the area is fantastic, a world with so much to offer. Thank you, Yuki, we hope to return one day soon.

The traditional atmosphere is incredibly charming, and you can truly feel the history and care that’s gone into maintaining the home. Everything was exceptionally clean and well-kept, making it both authentic and comfortable. Kimika was an amazing host—thoughtful, welcoming, and full of great energy. The decor in the house is very nice, and the view from the house is stunning as well. In the common room, Kimika also thoughtfully provided delicious local coffee and tea from Yakushima, which added an extra touch of warmth and hospitality. The kitchen also has everything you need. The house is very close to Isso beach, which is a great place to see the sunset. This is the perfect place to unwind and connect with the beauty of Yakushima, and also connect with the locals. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a unique and memorable experience on this magical island.
