Accommodation in Kagoshima

Location was great, being opposite Yamakataya Dept Store and walkable to Tenmonkan. The hotel was very good value and the hotel staff were great - I requested a room with a view of Sakurajima and they obliged. The room was of comfortable size for the three of us.

Location is perfect. The receptionist was so nice.

Good breakfast, loved the sento, nice room, helpful staff and good view.

Location, convenient store at the entrance

The room was spacious and very clean, offering plenty of comfort during our stay. The location was excellent as well — close to shops, dining options, and public transportation. I was able to enjoy the view of Sakurajima and the sunrise from my bed. Overall, a very pleasant and convenient experience!

Everything was quite clean. I was so pleased with the air conditioning and dehumidifier. The LG Styler device was very interesting and I used it 2 times! I appreciated that the check-in/check-out was automated. It was very good value for the price, if I didn't have other plans I would have stayed for longer. I especially loved having a compact but private space as a solo-traveler.

Modern, clean, perfect location - all your heart desires and nice staff as well

Excellent location, essentially right outside Kagoshimachuo Station, with easy transport links to the rest of the city and very close to lots of food options. Room was compact as is expected in Japan, but very comfortable and well-equipped. Staff were extremely polite and helpful. I had a great stay here!

The hotel is located near the bus hub for/from the airport and at the very centre of the city. Nearby are shops and restaurants. Rooms with a view on volcano are particularly cosy and quiet. I suggest choosing them when reserving.

EXCELLENT location just by the railway station - and no traffic noise at all. A real large room at a very attractive price.

Very nice facilities including luggage storage and refreshments.

1) The foods are good and tasty

Close to JR station and room is clean.

The property was very well maintained. The room was a perfect size for me and the amenities were all clean and well kept. The aircon was nice and warm and the light did not come in through the sliding blind doors in the morning. They also had a free egg sandwich for me in the morning.

The hotel is 5 minutes from Tenmonkan, the onsen is the best, breakfast is so good, I really enjoyed my stay ar dormy inn Kagoshima

Marvellous view of the city, sea, vulcan from the room. Fantastic breakfast in food quantity and quality, we ate outside on the patio of the breakfast restaurant. A lot of warm dishes, a lot of choice and also finest French patisserie. Fantastic onsen in the hotel. Fantastic nature and forest around the hotel. Very quiet at night. We used the bus coach to reach the city from the hotel, we also walked during the day through the pedestrian walk in the marvellous forest. To reach the entrance of the walk from the hotel, just follow the indication "Promenade" from the hotel: it is super easy: get out of the main entrance of the hotel, walk to the left, walk 100mt up to the kiosks selling tourist stuff, here follow indication "Promenade", it is other 70mt , and then take the path going down, it is not a road, it is very easy and very wide trail.

Kind staff, traditional Japanese feeling, loved the tatami rooms..

I had both the "normal" and the "superior" room both were good. The staff was helpful, i stayed about 1 month.

The onsen was amazing. The traditional rooms were nice and had good facilities. The view was good and the staff was very helpful. They say that Kagoshima has the most friendly people in all of Japan, and this hotel proves it. Worth it for the onsen alone, but you get so much more!

Convenient location to buses, ferry terminal and tram stations. Attentive staff. Good clean rooms. For the price I have no complaints
