Now my second time and my go for place to stay on this beautiful island. i enjoy the tatami room, but also there is one room with a western bed. a kitchen with everything what is needed to prepare food and tea / coffee. Marvellous hotel. Very stylish, comfy beds, very nice Onsen, good breakfast. Above all, a fantastic concierge service, getting us a car on Yakushima when we couldn't find any availability - the concierge staff made sure the next shift was aware of developments and really went the extra mile.

I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse, warmly welcomed by the amazing hosts. The price–quality ratio is honestly one of the best I’ve ever experienced. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and on my last day, Kami even prepared some homemade onigiri for me to take for lunch, they were so tasty and such a thoughtful gesture. I truly felt cared for throughout my stay. This was the best place I stayed at in Japan, and when I return to Amami, I will definitely come back here.
