The members of this family are the nicest, not only did they pick me up at the trainsation on arrive l, but on the day of departure, they drove me all the way to Kochi and not to the closest trainstation 😯. Very clean, great facilities and good provision of anything you might need for a comfortable stay. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and the beds and public spaces are well kept. The location is very good too, within walking distance of downtown areas and Hirome Market. The dorm beds were actual mattresses, so they were very comfortable, and the bunks came with many sockets and accessories (fan, light, clothes line, tissues). It’s a refurbished house, so it felt very cozy. It was comfortable and I enjoyed talking to other guests and the owner. It was a superb stay, one of the best guesthouses I’ve ever stayed at! Thank you!

Adorable stay at this guest house. Perfect location for OHenro and also just for leisure in Sukumo area. The room is spacious & clean. Facility is great, modern & new. Mana & Jun are so friendly & helpful. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

This was a very cosy place! The owner is really sweet and welcoming 💗 everything was extremely clean and comfortable and it was in a nice quiet location. Felt like being at home! With laundry, a well supplied kitchen, and even a comfy living room It’s a perfect spot for Pilgrims! But I think everybody else would love it too

Comfort, location, amenities, owners were helpful, responsive and friendly. Had a great stay in a beautiful area, close to lots of sights in Iya Valley! Would recommend at least two nights to get the most out of the accommodation and area

Yancy was incredibly friendly and helpful! Kids loved the chicken coop, yuzu tree, and fire pit. There were a lot of cute touches around the house! It was the perfect mountain escape for our family!

Beautiful traditional house, with some lovely design touches and a very well equipped kitchen with delicious coffee and tea available. We enjoyed a wander down to the river and submersible bridge, and took a Canadian canoe onto the river - very relaxing, with stunning scenery. Kenji was an excellent host; helpful, informative and gave us great restaurant recommendations. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here - we found it a very calming place and enjoyed our 2 night stay immensely.

My party had mechanical failure with one of our bikes when we arrived in the middle of a snow storm, and Ono-san went completely above and beyond to help us solve the problem and get where we wanted to go. The rooms were also very clean and nice. Thank you so much for your help and for a wonderful stay!
