Very new and clean, dorm bed was comfortable and warm. Staff spoke some English and were super friendly. They provided parking at the cafe across the street when I told them I was renting a scooter. You can use the kitchen to store food in the fridge and prepare meals - cutlery and pots/pans are included. The hostel is a 30 minute bus ride from Ryotsu Port and is walking distance to a supermarket and the beach.

The room is cozy and the onsen is very nice. Most importantly, all staff were helpful especially when I lost my car key. They arranged a car to pick me back and on the next day, took me to find it. Luckily, it was found and I was so blessed to choose this ryokan. Highly recommended!

Super convenient from shinkansen station, convenient rental for ski and snowboard and even sent us to the ski slopes. Rooms and onsen were well maintained and clearly upgraded. Super worthwhile stay!

The guest house is a short (but uphill) walk from Echigo Yuzawa train station. The property appears to be recently renovated as everything was nice and new. The room was comfortable and the shared shower and toilet area was clean. There is a communal kitchen area.

Location was great house was warm and the Onsen was awesome

Close to the station and lots of restaurants and walking distance to Niigata attractions for people who like to walk, it was also really clean and comfortable for a family of 3 and everything you could possibly need was provided.
