Upgraded our room to the suite when we were there- because the courtyard was so beautiful. For design lovers, the attention to detail was immaculate and such an inspiration. The balance of traditional architecture and modern design was breathtaking. Opened only 6 months ago! What a gem. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. We got Japanese breakfasts on both mornings instead of the Western. To get there, we took a bus from Kurashiki station to a bus stop 3-5 mins walk to Yoruya.

Luke a luxury apartment. Every detail from the choice of ceramic tableware to the tatami flooring made it a very special experience. But for the clumsy person as everything is quite precious, paper screens and pale flooring. The bath and shower are musical and the Japanese toilet a luxurious experience.

The staff is very welcoming and smiling. We will always stay here when we are in Okayama!
