The hotel is truly special and exudes Japanese hospitality. I had a beautiful traditional room, spotlessly clean and tidy. I have been to many Japanese hotels, but this one is truly special because you feel like you are in a protected cultural heritage site. The staff is exceptional, I was particularly impressed by the older gentleman who works in the restaurant who speaks a little English and was very happy to chat with me. The onsen is pleasant and tidy. It is precisely because of this gem that I will be very happy to return.

Everything. Breakfast was very good and many things. Onsens was lovely. House looked brand new and very clean. Loved every minute of it!

We thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality at this guesthouse — the hosts made us feel genuinely welcome, as did their friends and fellow guests. Facilities matched or surpassed expectations, and the overall experience was simply great. The highlight? Being invited to join a BBQ with the hosts and their circle. Just amazing.

The host was incredibly kind, even though there was a language barrier. He knew how to make use of translator apps, to get all the inportant things across and was therefore able to give us good tips and was just very kind in general!

This place was incredible, perfectly located, huge room with a nice view. The onsen /sauna in the hotel.i great. Most importantly is how I was welcomed and treated by Miki, the owner. A homemade pudding was waiting for me . I highly recommend this place!!!

Very nice hotel, right in the centre of Nozawa Onsen, with access from the main square. The facilities of our block were very new, everything was clean and the staff was very nice. We highly recommend it.
