Very welcoming and a perfect place to stay by the beach in Masuda. I received excellent hospitality and the people of Masuda are very kind. I stayed during the summer and was able to swim in the sea. There is a bicycle you can borrow to explore the city. My room and bed was very comfortable and I was able to relax during my stay. The guesthouse is also a cafe and serves great coffee and food. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Masuda.

We had a wonderfull time in Hoshi Ryokan!!! We had a very friendly welcome and even got picked up at the station although it is just 2 minutes to walk. Everything was clean and we had a very nice and big japanese room. The food was delicious and our special wishes (no fish 🤣) were fullfilled. Everybody here was so friendly!!!Thank you so much!!!!!

During our trip, we booked a room last minute at Wakatsuki in Tsuwano, and what a wonderful surprise it turned out to be. This beautifully restored former sake brewery has been transformed into a charming hotel and restaurant, and that care is visible in every detail. Our room was stunning and perfectly maintained. The food was equally impressive. Both dinner and breakfast were of excellent quality and prepared with great attention. We truly enjoyed every meal. What made our stay even more special were the people. The manager was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. When we left, we were even given homemade cake and a personal gift, which was a very thoughtful touch. We have been traveling through Japan for a month, and this stay is definitely one of the highlights.

Spacious, great facilities, great location. Close to the port- 700 metres. Top quality bikes. Great bath. Welcoming host who helped us with restaurant recommendations. And picked us up from the airport. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed! Accommodated us with late check out.
