Emi was a great host and we enjoyed our stay very much. The place is in a quiet side street next to the castle area so very convenient (and easy to reach by bus from the station). We came early and Emi made sure that everything is already ready for us and welcomed us with a tea ceremony. If we revisit Matsue one day I'm sure we will end up staying here again!

The location is fantastic. The views of the lake are beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and the staff keep them spotlessly clean. The Japanese breakfasts are exceptional. And the staff are warm and friendly, and always helpful.

Very interesting house with one room per floor! Our kids loved it at first sight, and it is conveniently situated close to the 2 main stations as well as the historic center.

Everything. The host was very generous with the amenities. The facilities were modern and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathroom and toilet were very spacious. We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend it to everyone visiting Matsue.
