Fairfield in Nikko was an exceptional stay for me, when compared to some other accommodations in Japan, especially due to the room's size, which was definitely on the larger side. The amenities looked brand new to me, as the entire hotel did. I also enjoyed the common spaces which have tasteful design and the outdoor space / terrace with the mountain view.

Lovely stay in this traditional home, Haru was lovely and had a warm greeting, she was so helpful with any questions we had and provided lots of great recommendations for things to see or do in the area, including places to dine.

Very nice location to go to main attractions. A little bit far from the center, and preferable you should go by car. The house has a lot of space. Comfortable beds.

Old traditional house. A charming house, beautiful and in a very quiet area. Fresh air and pure water. Hiro, the host, and his assistant Marie (a small gentle dog) are very kind. Hiro gave us some nice tips and restaurant recommendations. We felt right at home.
