The accommodation is a hidden gem. Our first day was a bit culture shock driving through the small village on rough roads, but it was all part of the adventure and "element of surprise." We rode our scooters daily (even at night and early morning without any problem). Loved it! Villa Romduol is just a short drive to Kampot town. The hotel is tranquil, with a separate open, breezy dining traditional wooden structure. The landscape is colorful tropical plants, it was a great joy to wonder and to just sit in front of the rooms or hang out in the dining area. The restaurant (I call it a restaurant because there's no restaurant nearby), run by the host (Naret and Sarong) was also the best meal experience in Kampot by far :), with a good variety of traditional dishes. We also very much enjoyed our impromptu seafood cooking lesson in the evening. The host family came out and helped us grilled fresh seafood - and hung out with us. The rooms were spacious, very clean and the highlight was the friendly and attentive host who provided exceptional service throughout our stay. Villa Romduol is a small boutique hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Kampot. We enjoyed our lovely peaceful evening playing games. We would highly recommend it. Naret and Sarong - we missed you! ...and missing your passion fruit and honey drink :)

Eugene the owner was wonderful, he arranged a great half day tuk tuk trip to see the local area (hidden cave was terrific) and our connecting transport to Ha Tien. A genuinely lovely bloke. The room was light and spacious , good aircon and 15 min walk to the riverfront where there are lots of bars and restaurants.

Cambodhi - Vegan Guesthouse asub Kampotis, 4,3 km kaugusel Kampoti pagoodist ja 1,6 km kaugusel Kampoti raudteejaamast. Tubades on konditsioneer ja privaatne vannituba. For us, the location was great: a little remote, but only 5 minutes with tuk tuk to the centre. You can also just walk :). Amazing breakfast options with reasonable prices (we tried 5 different options). If you don't like the sounds from outside (roosters, crickets, dogs barking...), earplugs are a must.

Seagull Guesthouse Kampot asub Kampotis, 4,5 km kaugusel Kampoti pagoodist ja 3,4 km kaugusel Kampoti raudteejaamast. Tubades on konditsioneer ja privaatne vannituba. 6 nights in this lovely Guesthouse: Pro: - super clean: by that, I am saying everything is spotless. The room is cleaned daily and to be honest it seems like they changed bed sheet daily too. INCREDIBLE CLEAN - great breakfast : eggs different ways or pancakes - coffee, teas or smoothie all serviced with daily fresh fruits. Once again well presented and clean - great help: assisting with bookings, scooter rental for only $7 a day directly from the Guesthouse. Laundry $1 per kilo, ready on your door the next day - great location: close to the main area but is a quite spot - amazing team looking after, run by a family. Very lovely and helpful Negative: Nothing to do with the Guesthouse itself. The bloody trumpet at 5am from the nearest military base it is incredible annoying. It goes on for 30 min. I feel bad as this can bother many guests and turn them away. But the place it is so lovely and deserves to be booked every day for the amazing effort they put. Thanks for having us 😀

We had a truly pleasant stay with Soriya and her family. Soriya and Joffrey were consistently thoughtful and attentive, and we appreciated the care they put into making our visit smooth and comfortable. Interaction with Daniel and three sweet dogs added to the homey experience. The breakfasts were very generous, we especially loved the smoked duck breast. Joffrey’s homemade pineapple jam was my husband’s favorite. The location was excellent — convenient for getting around while still feeling tucked away. The homestay was quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to relax after long days out. For the quality of the accommodation and the overall experience, the value was outstanding. We rented a moto from them during our stay and took a couple of tours with Soriya’s tuk-tuk. During the tours, Soriya took the time to guide us through local customs, including how to make offerings at the pagodas, which added meaningful context to our visit. Overall, a comfortable, quiet, well-located stay with great value. We’re glad we chose this homestay and would happily return. Highly recommended.

Välibasseini, tasuta privaatse parkimise, aia ja ühise puhkeruumiga Monica Guesthouse asub Kampotis, 3,6 km kaugusel Kampoti pagoodist. Majutusasutuses on ka toateenindus ja laste mänguväljak. Nice quiet location about a ten minute walk from downtown. Comfortable bed, good AC, motorbike rental.

RiverTree Villa & Resort asub Kampotis, Kampoti pagoodist 8,6 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on välibassein, tasuta eraparkla, aed ja ühine puhkeruum. Kohapeal on restoran, baar, saun ja mullivann. The slightly remote, back-water riverside location might not be for everyone, but was just perfect for me. I loved being able to go out kayaking whenever, or just relax around the facilities surrounded by greenery. The accommodation was spacious, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, in Asia (for my admittedly western tastes where I often find Asian beds are too hard for me). The food at the restaurant was excellent, and staff were very helpful at arranging day trips, and shuttle into town. It’s very easy and cheap to get a tuktuk back from Kampot city centre.

We are so happy we picked this place! Only good things to report :) Very comfortable, with lovely (& large) rooms located on 2 floors around a nice swimming pool. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to the centre/river (by scooter or tuktuk). But as it is out of the hustle of the town, you can hear birds and the wind in the palm trees from your window. A great place to settle and relax. We stayed 2 weeks altogether across various reservations and I do recommend spending more than a couple of nights, as there is plenty to do around (mountain, sea, river, sports, dining, pepper plantation, lake, markets, etc) and still have time to relax by the pool. We did not have time to get bored. The bed is good (neither too hard nor to soft), as are pillows. Room service is very thorough. Breakfast is good, with a variation between a-la-carte and buffet days. It can get a bit repetitive over a long stay like ours and is not especially vegetarian or vegan friendly if you don’t ask for it. But they will cater for you upon request and are looking into improving their vegetarian offer. The swimming pool is large and very clean, and long enough for laps. Best of all is the staff, including receptionist Som Moniroth, who are always doing their best to help with any situation and resolve everyday issues promptly. Overall, Hillocks is great value for money and we will definitely come back if in Kampot again.
