I liked everything. It was far beyond my expectation. Villa Romduol is amazing. My stay was perfect and I cannot wait to come back. Everything was beyond my expectations. The beauty of the place, the garden and plants, the cleanliness, the food made with love from natural veggies and fruits, the beautiful rooms decorated with such good taste, and last but not least, the adorable owners. The guesthouse is vegan, vegetarian, and sustainable, making it perfect for those who are not just consumers but also care deeply about the environment, animals, sustainability, and local communities. The concept behind this guesthouse is both smart and meaningful. I truly enjoyed it and dined at their ground-floor restaurant for nearly all my meals; everything was incredibly delicious! They set up an account for meals, scooter rentals, and laundry, allowing you to pay by card (or cash) before checking out, which was extremely convenient. Located in a quiet, local area away from the bustling tourist and party zones, the guesthouse also features a fantastic rooftop viewpoint where you can order drinks and food from the kitchen below. It’s a great place to relax or practice yoga. My room boasted a spacious balcony, a writing desk, ample space for hanging and storing clothes, a fan, and air conditioning. Plus, the bathroom had refillable bottles of local organic shampoo and soap. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I also strongly suggest visiting Nibi Spa, which was mentioned on the guesthouse notice board. It features a sauna with a stunning view of the river. Additionally, swimming in the river was an absolute delight!

A stunning place if you are staying in Kampot! - Great value for money (probably the best room I've stayed in during my trip in Cambodia). - The staff always welcome you with a big smile. - Spacious room, with private bathroom, a fridge, a kettle, a small balcony and great air-con. And the room was very clean! - The location is very quiet so you'll have an amazing sleep. Having said that, it's only a 10-15min walk to the Durian roundabout / centre of town. It's even closer to a lovely pond and the southern part of the riverside, which had an amazing night market when I went there. - I liked it so much (as well as the Kampot area) that I extended my stay.

We had a truly pleasant stay with Soriya and her family. Soriya and Joffrey were consistently thoughtful and attentive, and we appreciated the care they put into making our visit smooth and comfortable. Interaction with Daniel and three sweet dogs added to the homey experience. The breakfasts were very generous, we especially loved the smoked duck breast. Joffrey’s homemade pineapple jam was my husband’s favorite. The location was excellent — convenient for getting around while still feeling tucked away. The homestay was quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to relax after long days out. For the quality of the accommodation and the overall experience, the value was outstanding. We rented a moto from them during our stay and took a couple of tours with Soriya’s tuk-tuk. During the tours, Soriya took the time to guide us through local customs, including how to make offerings at the pagodas, which added meaningful context to our visit. Overall, a comfortable, quiet, well-located stay with great value. We’re glad we chose this homestay and would happily return. Highly recommended.

About 1.5 km walk into the centre of town, but easy to get remorque or tuk-tuk via Passapp app for a very reasonable price. Host has very reasonable & good motorcycle scooters for hire too.
