Alex was welcoming and helpful. He organised a kayaking trip to Khone Phapheng falls and a boat trip to a Hidden waterfall, both at reasonable prices. The food was delicious. We enjoyed an incredible sunrise from our balcony. Don Det is a very short boat ride away.

Beautiful views from the room and balcony over the sunset side of the river. Great location, quiet but an easy walk to many restaurants and bars. Very clean rooms with modern bathroom abd comfortable bed. The owners are some of the most helpful and lovely people we've met on our travels. Couldn't recommend Dodand highly enough and if we come back to Don Det we will definitely be staying here again!

The best location for relaxing and from our balcony we can see river and sunset view, the room is very clean and new they have good restaurant next to the room the food was amazing and lovely staff and they have bicycles for rent and bus tickets we lovely people here and hope to see you in someday

We had an amazing stay at Xavier’s homestay in Pakse. Xavier was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He helped us rent motorbikes hassle free at a reasonable price and gave us tips on exploring the beautiful Bolaven Plateau. The accommodation was cozy and comfortable, and we really felt at home during our three-night stay. I am very sensitive to bugs and we had absolutely no issues with that throughout our stay at Bolaven trail guesthouse. The host even surprised us with a fantastic baguette for breakfast, which was a lovely touch. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better host or a better place to stay in Pakse. We highly recommend this homestay to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming experience in Laos. Thank you to Xavier for making our trip so special.
