SwitzerlandI recently stayed at a room I rented for a few nights in Maharagama, Sri Lanka. While the location was outside Colombo, I found it to be incredibly peaceful away from the city hustle. The room itself was clean, simple, and excellent value for the price. What really stood out, though, was the landlord. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful, addressing all my queries and offering great tips about the area. I appreciated his hospitality and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful stay near Colombo.

There’s a lovely bar and restaurant where you can sit outside, as well as a nice rooftop pool. The rooms are similar to those in other hotels but met our expectations. We stayed here for just one night before flying home from our vacation. The hotel was perfect for this.

The Islands Breeze Villa is a good place to stay for vacation. The location is very close to supermarkets and good restaurants around. There is a beach close by which is walking distance. The host are very nice and respond quickly. Overall, would recommend to other people.

The most friendly and genuine hosts that we could have asked for! The accommodation was very clean and spacious. The plants in the building were a really lovely touch. The hosts provided great recommendations for food and sight seeing. They even helped us book the bus out of Colombo and we can’t recommend this stay enough!

The problem is not so much the accommodation but Booking.com
To cancel a booking and get in contact, I would rate Booking.com as the worst. Your company does not make it easy for your customers to reach out to you for changes or cancellations. Basically your company steals our money. I stayed one night but paid 5 nights. Do you think I could get in touch with you? it was like trying to get water out of a rock.
I will write to the consumer organisation. It misses me off how your company gets rich on the back of others.

This place become so special to us very quickly during our holiday in Sri Lanka we stayed twice in this hotel. We liked all the facilities and restaurants in this hotel, if you are in Colombo this is the place where you will feel extremely comfortable and relaxed.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and so helpful, they picked us up from the airport when we arrived very late and helped to arrange our transport to unawatuna when we left. They gave us many recommendations for what to do while we’re in Sri Lanka and have even stayed in contact to help us arrange a safari at yala national park. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, we loved our stay with them, could not recommend them more!

This was a fantastic accommodation with an amazing view. The location was really good as it was close to many restaurants and high way entrance.
There was a supermarket in the building and it was a very secure apartment.
The pool was very useful and roof top was an added bonus.
Bedroom were comfortable, all needed items for a comfortable stay was provided.
The owners were very friendly and helpful.
Would definitely stay again when I'm back in sri lanka.

The host was super friendly and professional. He provided all three meals for my parents and was very helpful. My parents had a wonderful quet stay at the accommodation for five nights. It was a comfortable stay with all needs being taken care of. I have np hesitation to recommend this place for anyone.
