It's been an amazing stay in this small hotel outside of Sigiriya! The hotel property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff was amazing, welcoming and helped with every kind of request as well. The breakfast was served as a set menu with so many options from fruit and continental to Sri Lankan food. The service was exceptional! Sigiriya is a little too far away to walk but it's only a few minutes by Tuk Tuk or car.

The pool has a nice view of it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room is small, but everything was clean and cozy. When the light was on, mosquitoes got into the toilet, but it was not critical. Thank you!

Loved my stay here! room was comfortable, spacious, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. loved having a bar/restaurant on site, the owner helped me coordinate tuktuk rides for all my excursions, was super friendly and helpful. location of homestay could not be more ideal!!! pool is beautiful and cleaned daily.

Sigiri Lion Lodge asub Sigiriyas, 4,6 km kaugusel Pidurangala kaljult ja 600 meetri kaugusel Sigiriya looduskaitsealast. Konditsioneeriga majutusasutus on Sigiriya kaljult 1,8 km kaugusel. Staff were very friendly! Our room was really nice and clean!! Great location to restaurants and Sigiriya rock. Owner helped organise tuktuks. Definitely recommend!

Grillimisvõimaluse ja päikeseterrassiga Sigiriya Water Cottage asub Sigiriyas, 3,4 km kaugusel Sigiriya kaljult. Külalised saavad einestada kohapealses restoranis. An excellent place to stay in Sigiriya. The owners and the staff were very nice, kind and helpful. The home-cooked traditional food was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this family and my entire stay. The owner made everything unbelievably easy. He arranged a my pick up from a very early morning flight from Colombo, set up a safari for me literally an hour after I arrived, and even organized my ride to my next stop in Kandy. He was so kind and understanding right from the start. I hadn’t exchanged money yet and he didn’t want to miss the chance to go on the safari, so he lent me the money until I could pay him back. Gestures like that are so rare and genuinely meant a lot!!! Safari at minneriya national park was one of the greatest experiences. Such a sweet and kind guide (set-up by the owner so have him do it for you!!) picked up/dropped off at the hotel. We saw over 40 elephants. It was spectacular and so much fun! Breakfast was fantastic, and they were incredibly accommodating with food in general. When I arrived, I was welcomed with a cup of tea and some snacks, and every breakfast afterward was delicious. It was also lovely chatting with the owner’s wife—she’s such a joyful, warm person and has the most beautiful garden. The room itself was good it had everything you need. It had a mini fridge stocked with water and pop at very affordable prices, which was super convenient. The walk to Sigiriya Rock was very close I think it took me 30 minutes to the entrance and 15 from the exit. You can take a tuk-tuk if you want, the owner will book it. The main street is about a 10 minute walk. Just a heads-up that it gets quite dark at night, so I have a flash light ready for when you go to dinner. I also want to give a huge shoutout to the owner’s son, who drove me twice. He was so sweet, helpful, and full of great information. Something he said really stuck with me—he mentioned that for them, it’s not about the money, it’s about the people. And you can truly feel that in the way they treat you. People first, always.

Kolmetärnihotell Lion See Hotel - Sigiriya asub Sigiriyas, 5,7 km kaugusel Pidurangala kaljult ja 1,8 km kaugusel Sigiriya looduskaitsealast. It is a brand new family run Hotel in an ideal location, very close to the Sigiriya Lion Rock. The rock is visible from the hotel! Lovely owner/ family were very attentive to all our requests. They even arranged a superb safari for us on request. Very safe for solo/ female travellers as well. Mr. Asanka deserves special mention as the chef. His Sri Lankan dishes are a must try! Well worth the price! Will definitely come back!
