He also arranged a complimentary breakfast for all the guests and neighbors on New Year's morning. I highly recommend this pla ce.

Wellawaya and it's surroundings are really beautiful and off the beaten track, but what really made my stay so good was the warm welcome I received from Thomasha and his family. Thomasha took me to see a nearby Temple and gave me some really useful tips on how to visit Diyaluma waterfalls by bus the next day. He was even so kind to drop me off in the city centre in the evening so I could have a walk around and took me to the bus stop on the day I left. I also had one delicious dinner at the homestay, and had the best pumpkin curry ever! I asked for a bed with a mosquito net and Thomasha accomodated my request. The room was simple but clean, with a nice balcony. I would really recommend this place to all my friends! I booked for one night, but stayed two... And could have stayed longer!

Cuisine excellente et safari à proximité top . 3 nuits dans un cadre enchanteur et les chambres sont d’une propreté irréprochable !! Culture propre de poivre / cúrcuma / cannelle. Les alentours sont magnifiques !!!

L’établissement Kataragama Homestay se situe à 18 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : Situlpawwa. It was a wonderful stay. The family who runs it was incredibly kind and helpful. We felt very comfortable. We had a beautiful terrace. The accommodation is very nicely furnished and absolutely clean. There was even a kettle and a fridge. We would have liked to stay longer. The safari that the owners organised for us was particularly good. They work with an extremely good guide who spotted every animal, no matter how small or large, that we would not have seen at first glance. A great experience! We saw several elephants, a leopard and lots of other beautiful animals.
