But we cannot express our appreciation without giving special thanks to a remarkable individual who left a lasting impact—Mr. Nishantha. Mr. Nishantha, a dedicated wildlife scientist, was far more than just a guide. He was our window into the natural world. Through his vast knowledge, genuine passion, and ability to explain even the most complex concepts with ease, he transformed every moment into an educational and meaningful journey. His presence added a whole new dimension to the experience, deepening our respect and understanding of nature. Thank you all for your outstanding efforts. We sincerely hope to relive such extraordinary experiences again in the future.

My Village ligger blot 900 meter fra Tissa Wewa og har restaurant og swimmingpool. Der er gratis WiFi på fællesområderne og værelserne. Samtlige værelser har aircondition og opholdsområde. Roligt sted med gode store værelser. Dejligt poolområde og restaurant. Værten arrangerede safari tur og vores videre transport for os. Personalet var meget venlige og hjælpsomme.

La Safari Inn Tissamaharama ligger i Tissamaharama, 19 minutters gang fra Tissa Wewa, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Utroligt venligt personale, der var søde til at finde transport videre til Ella. Maden på hotellet var god og priserne fair. Var placeret godt i forhold til Yala Safari Tours.

We stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. It’s a very peaceful and quiet place, ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The hotel has a beautiful garden area and an amazing swimming pool, perfect for reading or simply enjoying the calm atmosphere. The room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy, and we slept extremely well. On top of that, we had the best kottu we’ve tried so far in Sri Lanka here, which made the stay even better. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

We spent two nights of our honeymoon at Art Yala, and everything was perfect. The property is stunning, with beautiful lake views, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. We enjoyed every moment of our time there. Madu also organized an amazing safari experience for us. Highly recommend this place, and we can't wait to return soon!

This is a very comfortable hotel and the family who runs it is lovely! They took me to see bats flying at sunset and cooked incredible meals. I also did the full day safari - my guide was extremely knowledgeable and respectful of the animals’ environment.

This is the perfect spot to unwind before and after a safari adventure. The location is stunning, with the serene Debarawewa Lake right in front, offering a chance to spot plenty of water birds and even a few crocodiles from a safe distance. The resort staff was incredibly helpful - they arranged a jeep to share for the safari, making it much more affordable. The shared safari option also gave us the chance to connect with other travelers, which was a lovely bonus. The rooms were comfortable, and I loved the cozy communal area in front of them. It’s a great space to relax, exchange safari stories, and chat with fellow adventurers about travel experiences. The atmosphere here is friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. If you're planning a trip to Yala, I highly recommend this place for its comfort, location, and the overall experience it offers. I’d happily stay here again!

The host was really nice and helpful - he tried everything to make us feel comfortable. He helped us booking the safari to Yala which was awesome! He even made us coffee before we left to the safari at 4:30 am! After we got a fruit shake at the guesthouse from his wife, so yummy! His wife cooked a wonderful dinner for us, local and super yummy! The room was really clean and comfortable, there was AC and hot water. The guesthouse in general looks really nice, the host takes good care of it. He had two bikes for us so we could see the area - lakes, rice fields, stupas , there’s a lot to see! Thanks for the stay, we enjoyed it a lot!
