Nice hotel with character and history in the center of Schiermonnikoog. Wonderful welcome and talks during our stay with the amazing lady at reception. Our appartment was huge, clean and with modern amenities and decorations. Restaurant with good food and atmosphere.

Westerburen on Schiermonnikoogi külas asuv pereettevõttena tegutsev külalistemaja, millel on talveaed ja väike terrass. What did we like? Everything.....seriously! We travel a lot and we are not the kind of people that are impressed by ostentatious displays that don't go very deep.. We like simple, clean, thoughtful, welcoming places that just do a good job at delivering quality. And this place does just that. Absolutely! Comfortable, clean, interestingly decorated, lovely linens and towels, great breakfast, and couldn't be more conveniently situated. We have been visiting the island for about 15 years and have stayed in many different places, but this is our new favorite. And to top it all, the owners are the sweetest kindest folks you could wish to meet. Check it out. You will be delighted. As we were.

Duinzicht is situated on the tranquil island of Schiermonnikoog and is just over 15 minutes’ walk from the beach. It offers free Wi-Fi throughout and includes a sauna and solarium. We loved the central location of the hotel - walking distance to shops and restaurants. We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel - loved seeing the lighthouse back there. The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, The bathroom is also spacious and I enjoyed the bathtub. The staff was very friendly and helpful, great breakfast included and we enjoyed a dinner in the excellent restaurant. Highly reccommeded!!
